Coming back from the last break, tournament officials announced the official numbers for the 2021 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Main Event.

Over six starting flights, the tournament attracted 6,650 players. which created a $62,011,250 prize pool. That will be paid out to the top 1,000 finishers with a min-cash being worth $15,000. Everyone that makes the final table will become a poker millionaire, while the eventual winner will walk away with an $8,000,000 first-place prize.

Teisseire Comes Out on Top of Big Flip

Daniel Dangoor raised pre-flop before a player in middle position three-bet to 8,600. Action folded to French bracelet winner Antonin Teisseire in the big blind, who four-bet to 26,000.

Dangoor quickly folded, but the player in middle position went all in for around 50,000 and Teisseire quickly called.

The all-in player needed to win the coin flip to keep his Main Event dreams alive, but luck wasn't on his side as the board came down {4-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{4-Spades}. Teisseire ended up with a full house and the knockout.

"You won the bigger race. If you had to win one, that was the one to win," a tablemate told Teisseire after the hand.

After some deliberation, Mizrachi's opponent tossed in his cards.

"I fold two pairs too," he said.

Mizrachi smiled, laughed, and considered showing his hand to the table.

"Show the bluff," said a tablemate.

In the end, Mizrachi placed his cards in the muck and dragged the pot.

Petit Continues to Build

Petit called the 7,000 continuation bet from Roślik and then did the same for 15,000 after the {10-Spades} hit the felt on the turn.

The {8-Spades} river was checked by both players and each tabled their hands.

Roślik {6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for bottom pair but it was no good as Petit held {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} to win the pot with a pair of sevens.
