Action was picked up on the turn with a board reading with cards on their backs with Kenny Hallaert and another player with a shorter stack all-in:
Opponent:
Kenny Hallaert:
Hallaert had two pair with a straight draw, but his opponent had a flush draw and counterfeit outs. The river was none of those however and Hallaert scooped the pot to put his stack up to 131,000.
Action picked up on a flop reading with a player having bet 4,000, another player having called that, and Kitai putting in a raise to 8,000. The initial better went all-in prompting a fold from the caller and a snap-call from Kitai. "I have a monster," said Kitai before revealing his hand.
Opponent:
Davidi Kitai:
They both shared the same two pair but Kitai had the flush draw as well as an open ended straight draw. The turn did not change anything other than giving both players a higher two pair, but the river gave Kitai the broadway straight, which was good for the pot and he eliminated a player.
Action was recapped by the table. An early-position player raised to 1,300 and Michael Wang reraised to 5,300. Action folded around to Shaun Deeb in the big blind and he called. The early-position player called as well.
The flop came out with two diamonds and action checked to Wang, who continued for 7,500. Deeb responded by going all in for 12,000 which got a fold from the other player and a call from Wang.
Shaun Deeb:
Michael Wang:
Deeb got it in with a flush draw and a gutshot straight draw versus Wang's overpair. The turn and river brought no help to Deeb and he was eliminated on his second entry, meaning he will not be able to re-enter the tournament.
