Mario Hudson

A player raised to 3,800 from the cutoff, and Mario Hudson made the call in the big blind.

Both players checked the {2-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop, and Hudson checked again on the {4-Clubs} turn. The cutoff bet 4,000 and Hudson called.

Hudson tossed in a bet of 15,000 when the {q-Spades} rolled off on the river, and his opponent quickly folded.

Milliard Takes the Lead

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Julian Milliard
Julian Milliard

It's been quite the day so far for Julian Milliard.

Milliard started the action at 11 a.m. with just 16,700 of his initial 60,000 Day 1 starting stack, and was looking to spin his chips up.

As the levels have passed, he has managed to do that and then some and is now playing with a massive 790,000 chips.

It remains to be seen if the American, who has $35,336 in recorded live cashes, can further increase his lead with two and a half hours of play left in Day 2c.

Harrison Can't Catch Break in Aces Vs Aces Vs Kings Hand

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Audley Harrison
Audley Harrison

The under-the-gun player opened for 17,000 and Audley Harrison jammed for 32,400 from middle position. Action folded around to the cutoff player who tried to move all in over the top, but after the floor was called over for a capped bet ruling, he was only able to call Harrison's all-in bet and action folded back around to the under-the-gun player who called.

The under-the-gun player checked-called the cutoff players all-in bet of 96,300 after the {2-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} flop, and all three players tabled their hands.

Under-The-Gun Player: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Audley Harrison: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}
All-In Player: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}

"You see this, I can't even win with aces! This is how my day has been going," stated Harrison who instead of getting a triple up, had to share the main pot with his opponent after the dealer completed the board with the {q-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} on the turn and river.

For those who don't know Audley Harrison, his is a retired professional British boxer who in 2000 won an Olympic gold medal in the super-heavyweight division, becoming the first-ever British boxer to win Olympic gold in that division. Harrison is also Antonio Esfandiari's trainer for his boxing match against Kevin Hart.

Nino Three-Bets Ihlamur

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

There was around 10,000 in the pot on a flop of {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{5-Spades} and George Nino had a bet of 7,000 in front of him out of the big blind. His opponent was Osman Ihlamur, who was on the button and raised to 26,000. Nino thought for about 30 seconds and then came over the top, putting a total of 52,000 in front of him.

Ihlamur went into the tank for just under two minutes and ultimately tossed his cards to the muck, resulting in the pot being sent Nino's way.

Esfandiari Fighting Through Sleep Deprivation and a Hangover

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Champie Douglas checked from the big blind on {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Antonio Esfandiari bet 13,300 from the button. Douglas thought briefly and gave it up.

"Nice hand, sir," he said.

"Bout time I got one," Esfandiari said. "I'm sleep-deprived, I'm hungover. It's a good time to pick me off."

Story Time With Snuffer

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

Iverson Cotton Snuffer has been riding quite the roller coaster on this Day 2C. According to Snuffer, he started the day with 87,900 and found himself as low as 1,900 before going on a run back to 184,500 at the dinner break.

After the dinner break, he found himself in a heads up pot with {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. The flop came {j-}{9-}{8-} with one club and action checked through. The river came {4-Clubs} and his opponent fired a bet that he called. The river came {q-}, missing his flush draw but completing his queen-high straight. He ended up paying off his opponent who had {k-}{10-} for the higher straight, losing half his stack.

He had since gotten back to around the 140,000 mark when he raised to 5,000 from under the gun. The player directly to his left called, as did both James Mackey in the hijack and John Esposito in the cutoff.

The flop fell {10-Spades}{3-Spades}{10-Diamonds} and Snuffer continued for 12,000. Only Mackey hung around, taking action heads up to the turn {9-Spades}. Snuffer checked and Mackey fired a bet of 16,500, which Snuffer called.

The river came {10-Clubs}, putting three tens on the board. Snuffer checked again and Mackey checked behind, tabling {k-Spades}{j-Spades} for a flush.

Snuffer showed {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a rivered full house and raked in the pot with a grim smile of relief as he stacked his chips.

Obst Ousted by Kim

Nível 9 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
James Obst
James Obst

There was around 45,000 in the middle on a board reading {q-Clubs}{j-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. James Obst checked to Jiwoon Kim just a couple of seats over who dropped in a bet of 43,000. Obst check-raised all in for around 100,000 and Kim called.

Jiwoon Kim: {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}
James Obst: {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

Obst flopped two pair but it was Kim who flopped a set of fives. The river brought the {10-Spades} which changed nothing and Obst was eliminated from the Main Event.
