Sasha Liu dropped to 21,000 after two multi-way pots that were scooped by Chance Kornuth without showdown. First it was a raise to 1,800 by Abraham Faroni that was called three ways including Kornuth, Veselin Karakitukov and Liu, and after a checked flop of 
, a bet of Kornuth on the

Then, Faroni opened to 1,200 and Kornuth came along from the button, as was Liu in the big blind. On the
