Ivey Powers Out Opponent

Nível 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On a flop that read {7-Clubs}{a-Spades}{4-Hearts} Joseph Galazzo bet 14,000 after it was checked to him by Phil Ivey. Ivey then raised to 45,000 which Galazzo called.

The turn was the {q-Diamonds}. Ivey scoped out the Galazzo's stack before putting in a chunk of chips that was enough to put Galazzo all in.
Galazzo thought for about ten seconds before folding his hand and Ivey added more chips.

Ortiz Takes One Out

Nível 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

After a player in middle position moved all in for his last 70,000 in chips, Alberto Ortiz Such, from two seats over, moved all in behind, and the remaining players got out of the way.

Alberto Ortiz Such: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
All-in Player: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {4-Spades}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, which sent the all-in player to the rail and added a nice little bump to Ortiz's stack early on Day 2.

Ladies Saved on the River

Nível 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action started when the under-the-gun player raised to 13,000 and the player in the next seat over three-bet shoved his remaining 41,500. It then folded around to Mikhail Patish, who made the call from the button. With action back on the original raiser he went into the tank for about a minute before he folded his hand.

All-in Player: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Mikhail Patish: {q-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The{k-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{4-Clubs} flop was not a good one for Patish's queens, but a great one for the all-in player, as was the {2-Hearts} turn. However, things changed on {q-Clubs} river, which sent the pot to Patish and his opponent to the rail.

Kristen Bicknell (from yesterday)

On a board that read {2-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{k-Spades}, Kristen Bicknell was facing a river bet of 75,000 from her opponent.

She seemed torn over the decision and took several moments while staring her opponent down. Eventually she did make the call. Both players were hesitant to show their cards, her opponent showed {6-}{6-} and in response Bicknell quickly turned over the {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds} for the winning pair.

Bubble Burst!

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

We are now in the money! Shortly before break, play went hand for hand but it did not need to last long.

A player went all in pre-flop with a short stack and was called by two players. They side plot between the other two players was checked down as the board ran out {7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Spades}{j-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Robert Williams showed the {a-Clubs}{j-Spades} for the winning hand. The all in player cursed his luck as he showed {10-}{10-} and then was forced to wait to see if he was the lone bubble boy or not.

Luckily for him, another player was eliminated at another table on the same hand which means the two players will split the min-cash of $1,185.
