Don Johnson

The action folded to Don Johnson on the button who raised it up to 275,000. Jacky Wong was in the small blind and shoved all in for 3,290,000. Johnson thought for a minute and then made the call.

Jacky Wong: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Don Johnson: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}

The flop came {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Wong held the lead with his pair of tens. The {k-Diamonds} on the turn paired the board and the {j-Hearts} on the river changed nothing. When the chips were counted, Johnson had 3,260,000 which was barely covered by Wong, sending Johnson to the payout desk in 13th place.

Carl Brewington was down to his last 1,115,000 and he moved it all in from the hijack. Jacky Wong was in the big blind and woke up with a monster, making a quick call.

Jacky Wong: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Carl Brewington: {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}

The flop came {8-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} and Brewington paired his eight but was still behind Wong's pair of queens. The {a-Diamonds} on the turn gave Brewington a flush draw, but the {6-Clubs} on the river bricked off. The life of the party from Tennessee was eliminated in 14th place and will take home nearly $35,000 for his efforts.
