The World Series of Poker's venerable Tournament Director Jack Effell just gave his blessing, and cards are now in the air in Event #9: ($1,000 No-Limit Hold'em).

Each player starts with 3,000 chips and the blinds begin at 25/25 with levels running for 60-minutes each.
