Tamara Tibbles raised to 5,000 from middle position and Ryan Olisar called from the big blind. The flop was , Olisar checked and Tibbles bet 7,000. Olisar called and the fell on the turn. Olisar check-raised to 38,000 after a bet of 12,000 from Tibbles.
Tibbles thought for a moment and then folded. "I had eight-nine of clubs," Olisar told Tibbles.

Lapossie was in bad shape, but the flop quickly fixed that. The turn and river assured that Lapossie would continue to build and Loeser headed to the payout desk.

Joe Kuether raised to 4,200 from the button, Dario Sammartino called from small blind and the big blind folded. Both players then checked the board and split the pot because both were playing the board.
Dan O'Brien has had a surge up the chip counts and is currently armed with 205,000 chips. He did have a handful but relinquished 4,800 when he raised to that amount from late position and then let his hand go when Barny Boatman re-raised to 12,000 from the button.
O'Brien is yet to win a World Series of Poker bracelet, but has half of a dozen WSOP final table appearances. Could this be the tournament that O'Brien takes down?
Jason Somerville moved his sub 40k stack over the line from early position. Tamara Tibbles gave it some thought and made the call. Everyone else folded and the cards were on their backs.

The flop came and Somerville hit his set but needed to fade a club. “All I wanted was a sweat. “ Somerville said and that’s certainly what he got.
The turn and rover finished him off and Tibbles collected his stack.
