Trips For Guss

Nível 17

Limit Hold'em

We picked up with the action on the river to see Jon Turner and Brandon Guss heads up in a hand with a significant-sized pot in the middle of the table. The board read {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{J-Diamonds} and Turner fired out a river bet. Guss came over the top with a raise and Turner thought for a moment before dropping out a call.

Guss rolled over {A-Hearts}{j-Spades} for trip jacks, prompting Turner to muck his hand. Guss scooped the pot and now has about 145,000 in chips. Turner, on the other hand, has fallen to 80,000.

Trips For Schultz

Nível 17

Stud

Sherer: {x-}{x-} / {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{7-Clubs} / {x-}
Schultz: {x-}{x-} / {Q-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} / {x-}

Picking up with the action on fourth street, Matt Schultz checked over to Robert Sherer who led out with a bet. Schultz called to see fifth. Sherer picked up an ace on fifth, giving him the first action. He continued his aggression with a bet and Shultz stuck around.

The same action occurred on sixth, allowing the players to look at their final down card on seventh. Sherer bet once last time and Schultz called. Sherer showed {K-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for kings up, only to be bested by Shultz's {J-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{5-Clubs} for trip fives. Schultz picked up this sizable pot and now has about 83,000 in chips. Sherer, on the other hand, has been knocked to to just around 10,000.
