We heard a player groaning in disgust and when we got to the table we could see why. There was a massive pot in the middle of the table with the board showing . The player who was visibly upset, and eliminated, had for flopped top set. Another player had for flopped middle set and while not out was certainly crippled. Kal Raichura in the meantime had for a flopped straight and flush draw that hit the Broadway straight on the river. Raichura ended Day 1 as the chip leader and now here late on Day 2 finds himself once again sitting on top of the leader board, just slightly ahead of Konstantin Puchkov.
Aditya Prasetyo opened the action with a raise and Maria Ho made it three bets. Prasetyo made it four bets and Ho capped the action at five bets leaving herself with just 10,000 in chips. Prasetyo called and the flop came . The last of Ho's chips went into the middle and the cards were turned face up:
Prasetyo
Ho
Prasetyo was in the lead but Ho was drawing strong. She would hit trip deuces on the turn and fill up on the river. There was no low so she scooped the much needed pot.
After being down to 25,000 a bit ago, Greg Raymer is back to a healthy stack. In a recent pot, he four-bet the flop against one live opponent with another all in. Raymer got his second opponent all in on the turn, but both played trips with an ace for high and neither filled up on the river. The first all-in player showed before mucking, and we're down to 36.
