As this elimination occurred simultaneously with Jon Turner's, we missed the action heading to the draw. We arrived in time to find out that both Darren Elias and Mike Watson pulled one new card at the draw. The two got it all in for Watson's tournament life and Watson showed an eight perfect - .
Elias had that beat, however, with for number two. Watson hit the rail and will collect $16,601 in tournament winnings. Elias is now sitting on the big stack with about 360,000 in chips.
Larry Wright raised to 6,500 on the button, Ashton Griffin reraised to 22,000 from the small blind, and Jason Mercier cold-called in the big blind. Wright called as well.
Griffin and Mercier both stood pat, while Wright drew two. All three players checked, and Mercier took it down with .
Paul Volpe moved all in for 24,700 from under the gun, and Darren Elias called out of the small blind. Elias stood pat, and Volpe drew one.

Volpe peeled his card so much that it was damaged - and needed to be replaced - and it was three across. Luckily for him it was the , and he successfully doubled through.
"I've never played with such flimsy cards," Volpe said.
Paul Volpe opened with a raise to 6,000 and found calls from Brian Rast in the small blind and Darren Elias in the big blind.
Each player took one card at the draw and Rast came out swinging for 17,000. Elias flat called and Volpe tossed out a call as well.
"Pair of sevens," said Rast.
Volpe tabled for a ninety-seven, which prompted Elias to fling his cards into the muck. Rast mucked the rest of his cards and Volpe was pushed the pot. He now has about 100,000 in chips.
Rep Porter raised to 9,000 from under the gun, Larry Wright called in the hijack seat, and Jason Mercier three-bet to 28,000 on the button. Porter moved all in for 220,500, and Wright shot back in his chair.
"Oh my god!" he yelled. "This might take a second."
A few seconds passed.
"Wow," Wright blurted. "Unbelievable."
The 2-7 single draw bracelet winner said that he was going to flip a coin, but ultimately folded without doing anything of the sort. Mercier quickly folded.
Abe Mosseri raised to 9,000 from the cutoff and it folded over to Darren Elias who three-bet to 27,000 from the small blind. Joe Cassidy went into the tank in the big blind and after about 45 seconds announced that he was all in over the top for 75,000. Mosseri folded and Elias shoved forward a call.
Elias stood pat and Cassidy quickly pat behind. Elias fanned but was ultimately no match for Cassidy's for number two. Cassidy was pushed the pot and double to about 165,000 in chips. Elias' stack has dropped to 190,000.
