Nível 13 : 1,200/2,400, 600 ante
John Juanda - Eliminated
John Juanda - Eliminated

Jason Mercier raised to 5,200 in the cutoff, Paul Volpe called on the button, Ashton Griffin called out of the small blind, and John Juanda three-bet to 24,200 from the big blind. Mercier four-bet to 47,000, Volpe and Griffin quickly folded, and Juanda tanked for well over 90 seconds before folding as well.

An orbit later, Mercier again raised to 5,200 in the cutoff. Juanda reraised to 15,500 in the big blind, Mercier four-bet to 32,100, and Juanda tank-called. Juanda drew one, Mercier stood pat, and Juanda moved all in.

Mercier let out a sigh before calling, but Juanda told him he was good, revealing a {k-}{8-} low. Mercier fanned {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}, and dragged the pot.

Wright Busts Bucky

Nível 13 : 1,200/2,400, 600 ante
Shawn Buchanan
Shawn Buchanan

Larry Wright came in for a raise in early position, and Shawn Buchanan raised to 49,000, leaving about a dozen grey T100 chips behind. Wright called, thinking it was an all-in bet, and both players tanked before standing pat.

Wright tossed out enough to put Buchanan all in, the Canadian called, and Wright announced that he had a seven, fanning {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

Buchanan mucked, but all-in hands must be revealed and the dealer quickly flashed what appeared to be an eight-low.

Mosseri Busts Hellmuth and Smith

Nível 12 : 1,000/2,000, 500 ante
Phil Hellmuth (Razz final table) - Eliminated
Phil Hellmuth (Razz final table) - Eliminated

"I'm all in," Phil Hellmuth announced from under the gun, committing his last 19,500.

Justin "Boosted J" Smith asked for a count before re-shoving on his direct left, and Abe Mosseri also moved all in out of the small blind.

Mosseri stood pat, Hellmuth drew two, revealing the {10-Clubs}, and Smith drew one.

Mosseri: {9-}{8-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Hellmuth: {7-}{6-}{2-}
Smith: {7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}

Hellmuth turned over his first card - the {9-Clubs} - and he was drawing live to a superior nine low. He started to sweat his final card and was excited to see that it had no sides, but when he discovered that it was a diamond he knew he was drawing dead because both the {2-Diamonds} and the {3-Diamonds} were laying face up on the felt.

The 13-time bracelet winner unhappily turned over the {a-Diamonds}, and Smith quickly revealed paint; the {q-Diamonds}. Both players hit the rail, while Mosseri chipped up to 143,000.

Nível 11 : 800/1,600, 400 ante
Nick Schulman - Eliminated
Nick Schulman - Eliminated

Shawn Sheikhan raised to 4,200 from under the gun and Rep Porter three-bet all in over the top for 24,400. Nick Schulman moved all in for less from the next seat over for roughly 11,000 total. Action folded back around to Sheikhan and he announced a call.

Sheikhan drew one card, Porter stood pat, and Schulman opted for one as well.

Porter instantly tabled his pat seventy-six with {7-}{6-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

"Shit," sighed Sheikhan, showing {8-}{7-}{4-}{2-}.

Schulman showed {8-}{6-}{3-}{2-} and was also drawing dead against Porter's made hand. Schulman's hand finished off with a {J-} and Sehikhan's with an {a-}, finalizing Porter's domination in this hand. Schulman was eliminated from play and Porter score more than a double up to boost his stack to about 65,000.

Simultaneously, at the next table over, Michael Mizrachi was eliminated from play by Brian Rast.

Jen Harman is at the front of the pack heading into the day with 133,800 in chips.

Yesterday's play saw most of poker's elite hit the felt in what is certain to be one of the smallest events of the 2014 WSOP. Coming back with the second largest stack in the room is 2011 $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball champion John Juanda. Other notable names coming back include Greg Mueller (90,200), Daniel Negreanu (89,600), Jean-Robert Bellande (85,700), 2010 $10,000 No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball champion and last year's runner-up David "Bakes" Baker (83,000), Jason Mercier (57,900), Shaun Deeb (55,500), Phil Hellmuth (52,100), Frank Kassela (32,700), Barry Greenstein (32,200), and two-time No-Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball champion Nick Schulman (14,200).
