Alex Kravchenko Eliminated in 9th Place ($67,742)

Nível 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Alex Kravchenko - 9th Place
Alex Kravchenko - 9th Place

Hand #31: Rory Rees Brennan opened with a pot-sized raise to 140,000 from the hijack seat and won the blinds.

Hand #32: Brennan again raised to 140,000 and won the blinds.

Hand #33: Jared Bleznick raised to 95,000 from the cutoff seat and only Alex Kravchenko called from the big blind. Both checked the {9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} flop. The {2-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and after Kravchenko checked, Bleznick bet 135,000 and Kravchenko got out.

Hand #34: James Wiese raised to 100,000 from the button, and Alex Kravchenko promptly reraised all in for about 300,000 from the small blind. Sean Dempsey then repotted from the big blind, forcing a fold from Weise.

Kravchenko: {A-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Dempsey: {A-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

Both were double-suited with the same suits, then the {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop connected best with Dempsey's hand, giving him an eight-high straight. Neither the {6-Diamonds} turn nor the {5-Diamonds} river helped Kravchenko, and he was eliminated in ninth.

Rory Rees Brennan
Rory Rees Brennan

Hand #49: Numit Agrawal raised to 90,000, and Rory Rees Brennan responded with a pot-sized reraise all in from one seat over. It folded back to Agrawal who made the call.

Brennan had {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Agrawal {A-Hearts}{K-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Spades}. The flop came very good for Brennan, coming out {3-Spades}{3-Clubs}{J-Hearts}, then the {3-Diamonds} fell on the turn to improve to quads. Not that it mattered, but the case ace — {A-Diamonds} — came on the end, and Brennan doubled up.
