That tournament, that got moved from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. erlier, has now been moved to 8:30 p.m. The entire Amazon, Brasilia and Pavilion Room are full and there are simply not enough tables to accommodate all the players at this time.

Hellmuth Exits

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

We arrived at the table on the turn, with the board showing {5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Phil Hellmuth and the player to his immediate right were the only players in the hand. Hellmuth checked, and his opponent bet 950 into a pot of over 2,000. Hellmuth elected to call. The river was the {2-Hearts}, and Hellmuth again checked. This time his opponent bet 2,000, enough to put Hellmuth all-in. The 1989 Main Event winner thought for about a minute before pushing his chips forward. His opponent showed {a-}{q-}, and Hellmuth was eliminated.

See You Guys in an Hour

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Some of the people that have registered for 1B are being told that there isn't enough room yet, so they'll be start playing at the beginning of the second level of the day. The first level has only just started so they have to hoover around for a bit and check back in an hour or so. This tournament is getting really really big now.

A Change of Plans

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

We're playing only 8 levels instead of the 9 levels which were on the schedule for today. Flight 1B is so big that the entire Amazon Room is full and all tables available in Pavilion are also occupied by 1B players.

Mandavia Bets Big

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

On the turn the board read out {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} | {7-Diamonds} and the player in the small blind bet out 1,500. Mandavia, in mid-position, made the call. The river completed the straight on the table with the {8-Diamonds}. The small blind checked and folded with a heavy shake of the head after Mandavia bet out 4,000.

Lichtenberger Wins 4-Way Pot

Nível 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Andrew Lichtenberger raised to 400 pre-flop, and he got three callers from the button, the small blind, and the big blind. On a {8-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{2-Clubs} flop, all players checked. The turn was the {3-Spades}. Both blinds checked, and Lichtenberger bet out 800. The button called, but both blinds folded. Lichtenberger kept up the betting on the river, leading out for another 1,600 when the dealer turned over the {Q-Hearts}. His lone remaining opponent thought for about a minute before folding, and Lichtenberger took the pot.
