Buonanno Gets Busy; Loses Big to Perrins

Nível 28 : 25,000/50,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #56 Matt Berkey limped into the pot from under the gun plus one, as the action folded around to Seth Berger on the big blind, who checked his option. The flop came down {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{q-Spades}, as both players checked. The {5-Diamonds} fell on the turn, as Berger bet out 80,000, which was called, before the {k-Spades} completed the board. Berger reached for his chips, and threw out a bet of 260,000. Berkey thought about his decision for almost a minute, before opting to lay down his hand.

Hand #57 Matt Berkey limped into the pot once again, as the action folded around to the blinds. Seth Berger made the call from the small blind, and Thomas Muehloecker checked from the big blind, as all three saw the flop come {q-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{10-Hearts}. Both blinds checked over to Berkey, who threw out a continuation bet of 90,000, which was enough to take down the pot.

Hand #58 The action folded around to the blinds, before Thomas Muehloecker asked Matt Berkey how much he had behind. He opted to fold his hand, as Berkey received a rare walk.

Hand #59 Antonio Buonanno opened to 110,000 from the hijack, and watched as Randal Flowers made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {a-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Spades} as both players checked their options, before the {7-Hearts} fell on the turn. Flowers checked, before Buonanno threw out a bet of 125,000, which saw Flowers quickly fold his hand.

Hand #60 Antonio Buonanno opened his second pot in a row from middle position, making it 110,000, as Matt Perrins made the call from the big blind. The flop came down {q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}, as both players checked. The {8-Diamonds} fell on the turn, and Perrins reached for his chips, betting out 135,000, which was called, as the {9-Hearts} came on the river, completing the board. Perrins paused for a moment, before placing out a bet of 265,000, which sent Buonanno into the tank. Nearly two minutes passed, before Buonanno made the call, only to muck, when Perrins turned over his {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for top pair.
