Khoury Contines to Climb

Nível 18 : 3,000/6,000, 500 ante

Mazin Khoury opened to 12,000 in late position and Thomas Muehloecker called from the big blind.

The pair saw the flop come down {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Muehloecker check-called a 14,500 continuation bet from Khoury. Muehloecker then check-called a more substantial 36,500 bet on the {3-Diamonds} turn, before both players checked the {J-Diamonds} river.

Muehloecker showed {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and lost to Khoury's {K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

McEuen Bad Beats Hansen

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Todd Hansen and Jesse McEuen got in 50,000 preflop. On the flop of {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{9-Spades} the two got the money in will Hansen at risk. Hansen had top pair with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} but McEuen had flopped top two pair with {a-Spades}{j-Hearts}.

Hansen threw in, "Oh wow what a bad beat!"

This bad beat story was not going to have a re-beat story as Hansen could not catch a queen on the turn or river and he was eliminated in 25th place good for $10,225.

Kopacz on the Climb

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

David Kopacz has gone from one of the shortest stacks to right up there with the bigger stacks after winning a handful of all-in bets.

The first saw Kopacz open to 16,000 and Thomas Muehloecker call. Chris Bolek then three-bet to 36,000 only to see Kopacz move all in for 45,000 more. Muehloecker folded and Bolek called with the {J-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and was up against Kopacz's {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. A {6-Spades}{K-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board doubled Kopacz up.

He then doubled again, this time through John Gulino when he flopped a set of tens on a [Qf]{10-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} board and now has

Kopacz Can't Lose

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

David Kopacz is hitting a rush at the absolute best time. He was just doubled up twice and now has knocked out a player. The player was John Gulino. Gulino got his {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} in against Kopacz {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}.

The board ran out without a six and that eliminated Gulino. He will take home $10,225. Kopacz is looking for more as he climbed to 270,000.

The Worst Luck for Muehloecker; Double for Cremniter

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Thomas Muehloecker will want to forget out the last hour of play. He started the final 27 with quite some chips. However after losing a 150,000 pot to Bolek he got it in with {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} on the very next hand. Unfortunately a sort stacked Simon Cremniter woke up with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}.

Muehloecker could not believe his luck of cards in the last level and walked away to the payout desk as the board {3-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{9-Clubs} brought everything but a seven. Cremniter went up to 161,000 after the hand.

Miller Claims Some of Seer's Chips

Nível 19 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

Matt Seer opened to 16,000 from under the gun and was called by Tommy Miller in the cutoff. Both players checked the {5-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop, but Seer came out betting with a 25,000 et on the arrival of the {9-Diamonds} turn. Miller called and the dealer put the {5-Spades} onto the felt.

Seer checked and Miller checked behind, the latter winning with {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} when Seer could only table ace-high.
