Ho Coming Back at 5
Circuit grinder Ting Ho kicked off her summer today with this event, but unfortunately for her, a cooler ended her day. We didn't catch the hand as it happen, but she tweeted the details after.

Xuan Liu just lost a little pot brining her down in the chip counts. Preflop Liu made it 350 to go from under the gun. She was called by one player in the hijack seat and the player in the big blind.
The flop fell and the big blind checked. Liu continued for 475 and was only called by the player in the hijack seat.
On the turn Liu bet again, this time 700. Again she was called by the player in the hijack seat.
On the river, Liu finally slowed down and checked. The hijack player put out a bet of 1,200 and after a spell in the tank decided to fold.
After that hand Liu dropped to 3,400 in chips.

The player under the gun raised to 325, and got calls from the next player, as well as under the gun +3. Action folded around to Kevin Saul in the small blind, and he put the rest of his 1,350 into the middle. The first raiser called, and while the next player folded, he got one more call from utg +3.
The two players checked down the board that ran down , and Saul could not beat the of his opponent. We expect to see Saul return at 5.

The buzz inside the walls of the Rio extends beyond just the tournaments on the 2013 World Series of Poker schedule. Online poker in Nevada is a very, very hot topic right now, and WSOP.com is making a lot of noise.
While the site has yet to launch, you can head to the Lambada Room of the Rio or look for one of the beautiful and friendly WSOP.com ladies walking the hallways to sign up for a free, personal WSOP.com online poker account. This is a great way to get a jump on the site's registration, and plenty of people have already taken this opportunity.
What's more is that the WSOP will be hosting daily raffles for everyone that has taken the time to register for WSOP.com at the Rio. What can you win? Plenty of fantastic prizes including 36 WSOP seats!
Players 21 years of age and older who sign up for a WSOP.com account will automatically be entered into the “36-Seat Giveaway” where a randomly-selected winner will win a seat into the next day’s first WSOP gold bracelet event. One of the events eligible in this promotion is the $111,111 One Drop High Roller No-Limit Hold’em tournament that is expected to feature a $10,000,000 prize pool and allow you to play poker with the biggest names in the game. In total, $182,333 in WSOP seats, including a seat to the WSOP Main Event, are being given away during this one-of-a-kind WSOP.com promotion.
In addition to the 36-Seat Giveaway, a “Hot Seat” promotion will allow any player who signs up for a WSOP.com online account and wears their WSOP.com patch on their chest at the table while playing an event to be randomly selected to receive 500 bonus dollars deposited directly into their WSOP.com online account once the site has received all regulatory approvals and launches.
With 62 WSOP gold bracelet events and three winners promised for the Main Event, this promotion includes $32,000 worth of value to those participating.
The players are back in their seats, and the cards are in the air again.

Paul Volpe just busted and we caught most of the action. Preflop, Volpe was involved in some betting action with one other player, and both were headed to the flop.
On the flop, the other player bet out 1,000. Volpe raised all in from the button for 2,600 total and the other player quickly called.

Yesterday, we were all surprised to see the greatest Olympic athlete of all time, Michael Phelps, sit down and play the $5,000 buy in Eight Max event. Well he may be sticking around for a while here at the Rio, as we just saw him take his seat in this event after busting Day 2. We will be sure to keep track of the Olympian, and see if he can add a different kind of gold to his vast collection.
