Hands 118-123: Playing the Game

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #118: Holley raised to 180,000 on the button, scooping the blinds and antes without a contest.

Hand #119: Ott held the button this hand, and he used his position to make a raise of 300,000, which forced the blinds to muck

Hand #120: After his big bet on the last hand, Holley and Lind folded to Ott in the big blind, giving him a walk.

Hand #121: Holley opened to 180,000 on the button, and Ott three-bet to 600,000 even. Lind went deep into the tank, going into his best Hollywood routine while staring both of his opponents down. Rather than call or reraise, however, Lind mysteriously got out of the way, and after a few moments of careful deliberation, Holley did the same.

Hand #122: Ott limped in from the button, Lind mucked his small blind, and Holley checked his option to see a flop of {2-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{8-Spades}. Both players checked it down, and the {K-Spades} came on the turn. Holley checked the paint card, and called Ott's bet of 250,000, bringing the {5-Spades} on the river to complete the board. The two tapped the table once more, and Ott opened up {J-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} saying "two pair," but Holley's {K-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} had him beat.

Hand #123: Lind again raised an exorbitant amount, opening for 330,000 on the button. Holley responded by calmly pushing a single stack forward and announcing himself all in for his last 2.5 million. Faced with a huge bet, and a chance to eliminate another player while taking full control of the table, Lind when deep into the tank once again. He slowly sized up Holley's stack in relation to his own, counting out stacks of green chips equal to 500,000 until he had divided his chip castle into separate wings. After more than three minutes of staring and stacking, Lind finally took a last look at his cards before tossing them into the muck.

Hands 116-117: Ott Doubles

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante
Dana Ott
Dana Ott

Hand #116: Dana Ott moved all in from the button. After some thought, Ken Lind called and it looked as if John Holley might call as well, but he ended up folding in the end. Ott showed {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Lind was ahead with {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}. Ott took the lead with the {3-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{9-Spades} flop and would maintain that lead through the {3-Diamonds} turn and {7-Clubs} river. Ott makes a pair of queens for the double up.

Hand #117: Ott received a walk in the big blind.

Hands 101-109: Who's That Lady?

Nível 29 : 40,000/80,000, 10,000 ante

Hand #101: Holley raised to 170,000 from the button, and Ott called to see the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} arrive on the flop. Both players elected to check, and the {j-Clubs} came on the turn. Ott then check-folded to a bet of 150,000, and the pot was pushed to Holley.

During this hand, PokerNews' ravishing reporter Sarah Grant strolled through the tournament area, wearing five-inch high heels and a skirt, and for thirty seconds or so play was halted. The seniors had become momentarily distracted, and it was up to tournament announcer "Red Bull" Robbie to restore order by pointing out the action.

"One game at a time boys," said Lind, "One game at a time."

Hand #105: Lind made his usual preflop overbet, making it 330,000 to play, and he moved Holley off of his big blind.

Hand #106: Holley got his money back, but Ott was the victim. A raise of 180,000 by Holley forced Ott to surrender his big blind.

Hand #107: Holley raised his button to 180,000, and Lind made the call to defend his big blind. The flop fell {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} and Lind took it down by leading out for a 500,000 wager.

Hand #108: Lind stole Holley's big blind with a preflop raise to 240,000.

Hand #109: Ott received a walk in his big blind.
