Brandon Crawford Eliminated in 9th Place ($19,909)

Nível 18 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante
Brandon Crawford - 9th Place
Brandon Crawford - 9th Place

Hand #5: KT Park opened for 20,000, James Park called and Shawn Silber called from the big. All three players checked the {k-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{k-Spades} flop, the {A-Clubs} turned and KT bet 28,000 after Silber checked to him. James made the call, Silber folded and the {K-Clubs} completed the board on the river. KT checked, James bet 53,000 and KT thought for well over a minute before folding his cards.

Hand #6: Eric Shanks opened for 20,000 and Noah Schwartz called from the button. Shawn Silber came along from the small blind and then Brandon Crawford did the same from the big, leading to a {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} flop. Three checks saw Schwartz fire out 38,000, only Crawford called and the dealer burned and turned the {4-Clubs}. Crawford checked, Schwartz bet 87,000 and Crawford hit the tank. Eventually he emerged and moved all in, which Schwartz snap-called.

Crawford: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}
Schwartz: {7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{9-Spades}{9-Hearts}

Schwartz had flopped the nut straight while Crawford, who if you recall finished as the Day 1 chip leader, held three pair. That meant Crawford needed one of his cards to pair on the river, and although the {5-Hearts} paired the board, it wasn't the card he needed.

Crawford exited the ESPN Main Stage to a nice round of applause on his way to the payout desk to collect $19,909.

David Greene Eliminated in 8th Place ($25,483)

Nível 21 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
David Greene - 8th Place.
David Greene - 8th Place.

Hand #65: Eric Shanks reraised the pot after Shawn Silber opened for a raise. Silber reraised all in, and Shanks called.

Shanks: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Silber: {3-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{4-Hearts}

The board came {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, and Silber never had a real hope of catching up to Shanks' kings, so he was forced to double his opponent up.

Hand #66: Eddie Blumenthal raised to 40,000, finding no callers.

Hand #67: Noah Schwartz raised to 40,000, and David Greene reraised to 170,000. Josh Pollock repotted from the small blind, and Schwartz folded. Greene called off his remaining chips.

Pollock: {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Greene: {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Pollock improved to a full house on the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} board, eliminating Greene.

Eddie Blumenthal Eliminated in 7th Place ($33,057)

Nível 22 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Eddie Blumenthal - 7th Place
Eddie Blumenthal - 7th Place

Hand #90: Noah Schwartz opened for 65,000 from the small blind and Shawn Silber folded from the big.

Hand #91: Eddie Blumenthal raised the pot to 84,000 from the cutoff only to have Noah Schwartz reraise to 250,000 from the button. Blumenthal made the call and then moved all in on the {6-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} flop. Schwartz made a quick call and the hands were tabled.

Blumenthal: {q-Spades}{10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Schwartz: {4-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

Schwartz was well out in front with his pair of aces; in fact, after the dealer burned and turned the {5-Clubs}, Blumenthal needed a ten on the river to survive. Unfortunately for the Wisconsinite, it wasn't in the cards as the {K-Diamonds} blanked. This marked the second seventh-place finish for Blumenthal at the 2013 WSOP, the other coming in the $1,500 H.O.R.S.E. event.

Eric Shanks Eliminated in 6th Place ($43,460)

Nível 22 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
Eric Shanks - 6th Place.
Eric Shanks - 6th Place.

Hand #92: Noah Schwartz and Shawn Silber checked a {j-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, and the turn was {8-Hearts}. Schwartz bet 65,000, and Silber called. The river was {a-Clubs}, and both players checked. Schwartz showed {a-}{2-}{3-}{5-} to take the pot.

Hand #93: Josh Pollock raised to 50,000. He took the pot.

Hand #94: James Park raised to 50,000 from the button, and Pollock called from the big blind. The flop came {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}, and both players checked. A {9-Spades} put trips on the board, and two more checks resulted. The river was a {2-Hearts}, and Pollock bet out 50,000. Park called. Pollock's {3-}{3-} in the hole was good.

Hand #95: Eric Shanks raised to 50,000 from the button, and Pollock made it 162,000 from the small blind. Shanks repotted to go all in, and Pollock called.

Shanks: {a-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Pollock: {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

A flop of {6-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades} gave Pollock hope despite being far behind preflop. A {9-Spades} turn gave him a flush, and a {6-Clubs} river finished out the board.

Shawn Silber Eliminated in 5th Place ($57,974)

Nível 24 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Shawn Silber - 5th Place.
Shawn Silber - 5th Place.

Hand #130: Shawn Silber raised to 140,000. Josh Pollock put Silber all in, and Silber called.

Silber: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
Pollock: {q-Spades}{6-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Clubs}

The flop came {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, keeping Silber's aces in the lead but giving Pollock a gutshot straight draw. An {8-Clubs} turn added more outs to Pollock's hand, as now either a five or a ten would make his straight. The river came a {5-Clubs}, and Silber's aces had been toppled, ending his run.

KT Park Eliminated in 4th Place ($78,532)

Nível 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
KT Park - 4th Place
KT Park - 4th Place

Hand #131: James Park raised to 80,000 on the button and Josh Pollock called from the small blind. Noah Schwartz came along from the big and three players saw a flop of {k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}. All three players checked to see the {9-Spades} turn and Pollock checked. Schwartz bet just over 200,000, James raised the pot, Pollock folded and Schwartz three-bet it. James called off and as it turned out was freerolling.

James: {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Schwartz: {j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}

Unfortunately for James, his freeroll wouldn't come in as the useless {6-Clubs} peeled off. Chop it up.

Hand #132: Noah Schwartz raised to 120,000 from the small blind and won the pot.

Hand #133: KT Park made it 120,000 to go from the small blind only to have James Park three-bet the pot. KT got his short stack in and the cards were tabled.

KT: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}
James: {10-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

James was ahead with sevens, though he improved to a pair of tens on the {10-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop. KT picked up a gutshot straight draw to go with his threes and overs, but neither the {6-Spades} turn nor {8-Hearts} river would deliver him salvation. With that, KT Park shook hands with the remaining players and then exited the tournament in fourth place.

James Park Eliminated in 3rd Place for ($108,196)

Nível 24 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante
James Park - 3rd Place
James Park - 3rd Place

Hand #146: James Park called from the small blind, Josh Pollock checked his option and the flop fell {7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Park bet 50,000, Pollock called and the {3-Spades} turned. Park slowed down with a check and Pollock did the same. Action repeated itself on the {8-Hearts} river and Pollock showed {7-}{5-}{4-}{4-} for sevens and threes, which was good enough to win.

Hand #147: James Park opened for 80,000 from the button and Noah Schwartz defended from the big blind. Schwartz checked the {2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop and Park bet 130,000. Schwartz then woke up with a check-raise to 350,000 and Park quickly folded.

Hand #148: Noah Schwartz raised to 100,000 from the small blind and won the pot.

Hand #150: James Park raised the pot (120,000) from the small blind and pushed Josh Pollock off the big blind.

Hand #151: Noah Schwartz got a walk in the big blind.

Hand #152: Noah Schwartz made it 120,000 from the small blind only to have James Park raise the pot. Schwartz three-bet it and Park called off.

Park: {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Schwartz: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Park got it in with a pair of queens but was behind Schwartz's kings. The {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} flop paired Schwartz's ace and kept him in the lead. The {k-Spades} turn improved Schwartz to a set and left Park in need of either a jack or club on the river, but the {10-Spades} was no help. Park was eliminated in third place for $108,090.

Hand #198: Noah Schwartz opened for 150,000, Josh Pollock called and the flop came down {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{2-Clubs}. Pollock checked, Schwartz bet 200,000 and Pollock called. The {8-Diamonds} turn saw Pollock lead out for 450,000 and Schwartz make the call. The {7-Clubs} river prompted Pollock to bet and Schwartz to bet 550,000. Pollock made a quick call with the {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{q-} for a flush, which bested Schwartz's three tens.

Noah Schwartz - 2nd Place.
Noah Schwartz - 2nd Place.

Hand #215: Noah Schwartz raised to 155,000, and Josh Pollock called. He then checked the {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop, and Pollock checked 200,000. Pollock raised the pot, and Schwartz called off the last of his chips.

Schwartz: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Pollock: {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

Both players had flopped straights, but Pollock's was better. Schwartz was already drawing dead, and the {a-Hearts} and {q-Spades} completed the board.
