Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante
Adam Friedman - Can he repeat?
Adam Friedman - Can he repeat?

Gregory Jamison: {x-}{x-} / {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{q-Clubs} / {x-}
Sergey Altbregin: {x-}{x-} / {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Hearts} / {x-}
Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} / {x-}

Jamison brought it in, Altbregin completed, and Friedman, who won this event last year, called. Jamison called as well.

On fourth street, Altbregin led out and both of his opponents called. The same occured on fifth street, and on sixth street he checked for the first time. Friedman checked behind him, Jamison fired out a bet, and Altbregin called all in for a single T100 chip. Friedman called as well.

On seventh, Friedman check-called a bet, and all three hands were tabled.

Jamison: {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Altbregin: {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}
Friedman: {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}

Jamison held a flush, Friedman a low, and Altbregin mucked his trip kings before hitting the rail.

Elezra Rights the Ship

Nível 9 : 600/1,200, 100 ante

Phil Hellmuth: {x-}{x-} / {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Michael Noori: {x-}{x-} / {7-Spades}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} / {x-}
Eli Elezra: {x-}{x-} / {8-Spades}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} / {X-}

We picked up the action at the showdown when Eli Elezra tabled the {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} for a pair of sixes and an eight-six low. Noori mucked and said, "I had an eight-seven."

Elezra got off to a rough start here on Day 2, but as Level 9 comes to an end it looks like he's turned things around and is now headed in the right direction.

Double Duty for Mercier

Nível 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Up until yesterday, Jason Mercier had failed to make a single Day 2. Then last night, while playing both this event and Event #12: $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em, he suddenly found himself bagging up in two different tournaments.

While Mercier had to bounce from the Amazon Room to the Pavilion yesterday (which is a little bit of a hike), today he's got it made as both tournaments are happening in the Purple Section of the Amazon Room.

Mercier is already in the money in Event #12, and only time will tell if he can go two for two.

Miller: {6-Spades}{3-Spades}
