Picking up with the action on the final board of , things seemed fairly innocent with a bet of 350,000 from Scott Abrams into a pot of a few hundred thousand chips. Casey Yontz opened for 125,000 under the gun and was met with a three-bet to 305,000 from Russell Thomas in the cutoff. The button and blinds got out of the way, Yontz moved all in for 1.83 million, and Thomas made a quick call.

Yontz was in bad shape, though he did hold an overcard. The flop gave Yontz some additional straight outs to a king, but neither the turn nor river would be of any consequence. With that, Yontz exited in 53rd place while Thomas chipped up to over 6.3 million.
David Balkin opened to 130,000 and was called by Richard Pyne from late position and Robert Salaburu in the big blind. The flop came down and Salaburu checked. Balkin continued out for 260,000 and Pyne called. Salaburu folded and the two were heads up to the turn.
Fourth street was the and Balkin checked. Pyne moved all in for his last 1,100,000 and Balkin snap called, showing for trip kings. Pyne showed for a flush draw and needed a heart on the river.
From middle position, Gwennael Grandmougin raised all in for 845,000. Amit Zulkowitz reraised all in from the cutoff seat to isolate and everyone else folded. When the hands were turned up, it was Grandmougin's versus Zulkowitz's .
The flop gave Grandmougin the lead when the fell. The on the turn left Zulkowitz looking for just a ten to bust Grandmougin. When the fell on the river, Grandmougin was able to breathe again as he earned the double up to over 1.8 million. Zulkowitz was knocked back to 2.1 million.
From under the gun, Jeremy Ausmus raised to 125,000. Gwennael Grandmougin called from the next seat and Yuval Bronshtein called from the hijack seat. Percy Mahatan reraised from the big blind to 500,000 and only Ausmus called to see the flop.
The heads-up flop brought the and Mahatan tried to bet one million, but did so with a string bet and it was ruled that he was only allowed to bet 500,000. Ausmus called.

Action folded to Erik Hellman on the button who made it 125,000 to go. Right next door, Robert Salaburu three-bet to 280,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Hellman threw out a call.
The flop was and Salaburu continued for 150,000. Hellman made it 375,000 tot go and Salaburu called. The turned and they both checked. The completed the board and Salaburu checked. Hellman moved 475,000 into the center and Salaburu called. Hellman showed and took down the pot.
In the last hand of Level 27, Greg Merson opened for 125,000 only to have Elisabeth Hille three-bet to 300,000. Omar Saeed then woke up with a four-bet to 635,000, Merson got out of the way, and Hille moved all in. Saeed called off for 2,445,000 total and the cards were turned up:
