The WSOP Circuit Marrakech 15,000 MAD (€1,400) Main Event at the Casino de Marrakech, located in the heart of the Es Saadi Resort, has been a massive success.
A new attendance record was established on Day 1b with 398 entrants coming out in full force to bring the total Main Event field up to 625 entrants including 228 re-entries.
The previous record, which was established in January 2019 with 544 entrants, was smashed by 81 entrants.

Day 1b Recap
France's Marius Conan (lead image) emerged as the Day 1b chip leader after 12 blind levels of 45 minutes each after bagging a huge stack of 299,000 in chips or nearly 10-times the starting stack of 30,000. Also bagging top five stacks on Day 1b were Morocco's Ghassane Ghehbi (263,000), Spain's TMV (249,000), Bulgaria's Elvira Malay (245,000), and Spain's Joselito (243,000).
Conan will enter Day 2 second in chips behind Day 1a chip leader Ayman Jarrar from Morocco who bagged a huge stack of 351,000 in chips.
Other notables to bag big stacks on Day 1b included WSOP Circuit ring winner Thierry Delpui (238,000), Samiyel Duzgun (198,000), Jerome Zerbib (192,000), Bruno "Kool Shen" Lopes (184,000), Patrick Sacrispeyre (162,000), and flag hunter Andrew Hills (106,000).
PMU.fr Ambassador Joffrey Lhote bagged 74,000 in chips on Day 1b and will be joined by fellow ambassadors Paul Guichard (130,000) and Erwann Pecheux (65,500), along with a handful of PMU.fr qualifiers.
