Today's Action
After several Day 1s had come to a conclusion, 2,703 players were left to battle it out on Day 2 and with 1,800 players getting paid, the pace was fast and furious from the start. It would take just over an hour before the bubble burst with Antonio "Luigy" Heredia busting as the final player without cashing. Six hours later, the tournament would be down to three tables already.
Several double-ups came along for the shortstacks before "Yrel is Life", Alex "AlexTheGreat" Machado, ironpot", Diego "TheProjector" Ventura, MoneyPrint7", TTAAKK_SHARK, and Freek "Jeff Pesos" Scholten fell in quick succession to get the tournament to the final two tables.
"followmeee" ran their ace-king into the aces of Siena with Marcio "Nodenuevo" Zacconi following shortly after when his ace-king could beat the ace-jack of "DrHyun". But the latter couldn't keep hold of their chips as they then lost them all to "eisbdh12". "Darkwshadow" busted in thirteenth place when his kings first got beaten by the ace-five of "asky86" and the remainder of their stack went to the same player two hands later.
"Chillin" fell to "zopino" while "0LiNiWiN" was taken out by Angelou-Konstas to reach the all-important final table bubble stage. "eisbdh12" first doubled up Franco "pelaguacha" Spitale but he lost a chunk of it to "Vaatefingre" before "CallMeBatya" doubled through "zopino". Angelou-Konstas then took out Spitale with the higher kicker to jump into the lead but "CallMeBatya" won the final hand of the night on the other table to steal the chip lead for the final table.
