Franco Folds Top Pair Versus Boatman

Barny Boatman raised to 7,000 from the under-the-gun position and he was called by three players, including Sonny Franco on his direct left.

The flop fell and Boatman continued with a bet of 10,000. Franco called and the two other players in the hand got out of the way.

The board read and the pot had a little over 125,000 in it. Tsunamy had made a bet of 125,000 after it had checked to him and the action was of Ibrahim Kiriakus. Kiriakus took his time and eventually got the clock called on him.

Dossetto Gives Up After Snap-Shove From Sol

Stephane Dossetto raised from early position to 13,000 and it folded all the way around to the player in the big blind. It was Ramon Sol who still had a decision to make and he called.

The flop came and Sol peeked at his cards before checking to Dossetto. Dossetto made a very quick bet of 25,000 and there was an even quicker shove from Sol.

Atoui Runs to Chip Lead

Kamel Atoui is a very active player and he pulled off a big bluff yesterday on Day 1B. He's back to playing aggressively again today and just won a pot to attain the chip lead.

Atoui opened from early position to 8,000 and Orey Canarinho defended his big blind when it folded around to him. The flop came down . Canarinho went for the check-call route and called a bet of 13,000 from Atoui to see the turn.

The turn was the and Canarinho checked again. Atoui bet 27,000 this time and Canarinho took a little bit longer to make up his mind. He flicked in a call and they went to the river.

The dealer put down the and Canarinho checked to Atoui for the third and final time. Atoui fired once more as he put 35,000 in the middle. Canarinho called after a minute, only to see Atoui open up for runner-runner two pair. Canarinho mucked and Atoui has now well over half a million in front of him.
