Colillas Crashes Out; Danchev Left Short

Nível 1 : 250/500, 60 ante
RamonColillas eliminated by RuiNF
RamonColillas eliminated by RuiNF

On a table filled with big names including two PokerStars ambassadors, the first bullet of Ramon "RamonColillas" Colillas came to a crashing end after just five minutes when he ran with {k-Clubs}{k-Spades} into the {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds} of Rui "RuiNF" Ferreira. The board came {10-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} to provide no help for the Spaniard.

Another big name in trouble on the first of three possible bullets is Dimitar "KuuL" Danchev, who was left with crumbs. In a four-bet for 27,500 preflop, Danchev took on "s3c3_1978" who continued for 22,316 on the {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop, which Danchev check-called in the small blind. After the {a-Clubs} turn, Danchev check-raised from 8,000 to 20,000 and called the shove of "s3c3_1978" with {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} only to find himself drawing dead against {a-Spades}{a-Hearts} already.

The {j-Spades} river was a formality and Danchev was left with seven and a half big blinds.

Another progressive knockout tournament of the PokerStars 2020 Spring Championship of Online Poker will determine a champion in the next 48 hours and big field is expected for SCOOP-43-H: $2,100 NLHE PKO. The special edition of the Sunday Warm-Up comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $1,000,000 and will certainly attract some of the biggest names of online poker as part of their busy Sunday schedule.

Dutch players have already been very successful and earned nine titles half-way through the online series and it all kicked off with the victory of Jorryt "TheCleaner11" van Hoof in SCOOP-02-H: $2,100 NLHE PKO after he defeated fellow countryman "0m3rta" in heads-up. Two days later it was "Passiveaggro" that topped SCOOP-10-H: $1,050 NLHE [PKO] and two days ago, it was Teun "tinnoemulder" Mulder that claimed the title in SCOOP-33-H: $10,300 NLHE [8-Max, PKO, High Roller].

The action for this two-day event will get underway at 10.30 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and the late registration will remain open for the first 4h45 of play. During the registration period, all participants can re-enter up to two times in case they run out of chips and wish to take another shot at the action.

Everyone receives 100,000 in chips and the first level features blinds of 250-500 with a running ante of 60. From each buy-in, $1,000 will be added to the bounty prize pool and $1,000 will go towards the cash prize pool. A progressive bounty of at least $500 will be awarded for each player eliminated while half of that bounty will be added to the bounty of the player that dealt the final blow.

Day 1 will conclude after nine hours of play and recommence the following day at 1.05 p.m. EST. The first 36 levels will last 20 minutes each whereas the duration then increases to 30 minutes each for the remainder of the tournament. For each hour players, the participants will receive an additional 10 seconds on top of their 60-second time bank.

Will another Dutchman earn a SCOOP PKO title? Find out right here on PokerNews as the live reporting team will provide updates from start-to-finish.
