Moneymaker has increased his stack by over 600,000 over the course of the day, as Chop slipped down to around 150,000.
Seyed Ghavam opened to 23,000 and Mikhail Galitski defended the big blind to see a flop of . Galitski check-called a bet worth 23,000 before the turn went check, check. After the river, Galitski bet 32,000 and Ghavam folded.

Dmitrii Grinenko raised to 20,000 from under the gun and Jonas Lauck called in the big blind before quickly check-folding the flop to a continuation bet.

Galitski min-raised the button to 20,000 and Grinenko called out of the big blind. Grinenko checked the flop, Galitski bet 13,000 and was called. The turn brought no betting action before Grinenko bet the river for 57,000. Galitski quickly called and Grinenko mucked his cards, Galitski showed while raking in the pot.
The last three hands before the break provided some fireworks. First Daniyar Aubakirov took off fellow Kazakh Lavrentiy Ni before the latter limp-shoved into Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier.
Last but not least, the clock was about to run down for the level while Yurii Zdanovskyi had raised to 22,000. Ni was on the button and waited until 10 seconds remaining before announcing all in. The blinds folded and Zdanovskyi snap-called.
