Hands #4-6: Two For Akkari; Siddique Shoves

Hand #4: Andre Akkari opened with {9-Hearts}{7-Hearts} to 450,000 from under the gun and Lachezar Petkov defended his big blind with {A-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

Akkari flopped huge on {2-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the {2-Diamonds} turn, Akkari had the hand locked up. Petkov checked, Akkari bet 425,000, and Petkov called.

The {9-Diamonds} on the river made Akkari's hand look even sweeter. Petkov checked again, Akkari tried to get value with a bet of 1,675,000 but Petkov quickly folded.

Hand #5: Usman Siddique picked up {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs} under the gun and shoved for 3,575,000, picking up the blinds and antes.

Hand #6: Akkari raised to 475,000 with {K-Diamonds}{2-Spades} in the small blind and Siddique defended with {Q-Hearts}{10-Clubs}. On the {A-Spades}{J-Spades}{7-Clubs} flop, Akkari bet 375,000 and Siddique folded.

Hands #7-9: Quads Cause Sorrentino to Lose Chip Lead

Nível 33 : 125,000/250,000, 25,000 ante

Hand #7: Andre Akkari raised on the button with {10-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} to 550,000. Sebastian Sorensson picked up {a-Spades}{q-Clubs} in the big blind and put in a three-bet to 1.4 million. Akkari stared his foe down but eventually released.

Hand #8: Sorensson had {2-Spades}{2-Clubs} in the small blind and decided to fold, and Brian Kaufman took it down with pocket threes.

Hand #9: Kaufman was dealt another pair, this time {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} in the small blind. Raffaele Sorrentino put in a raise to 750,000 with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}. Kaufman kept it cagey and called. The {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{k-Spades} flop helped both players, and Kaufman checked. Sorrentino bet another 750,000 and Kaufman slid in a quick call. The turn brought the {j-Diamonds} and two checks. The {3-Clubs} river prompted some aggression finally from Kaufman, 975,000. Sorrentino paid it off immediately.

Hand #17: Brian Kaufman opened for 525,000 with {k-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}. Petkov called in the small blind with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and they saw a {4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{7-Spades} flop heads up. Both checked and Petkov bet out 650,000, and Kaufman called when the {2-Hearts} hit. The river was an {a-Clubs} and Petkov checked. Kaufman bet 900,000.

After some tanking, Petkov called and won the pot.

Hand #19: Lachezar Petkov raised to 525,000 with {A-Spades}{6-Diamonds} from the cutoff. Sebastian Sorensson three-bet to 1,300,000 from the big blind with {7-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} and Petkov folded his hand.

Hand #20: Usman Siddique raised to 550,000 with {Q-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} on the button. Brian Kaufman defended his big blind with {J-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

Hand #21: Andre Akkari raised to 550,000 with {J-Spades}{8-Spades} in middle position. Usman Siddique shoved all in for 5,125,000 with {6-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} from the cutoff. Kaufman reshoved 5,550,000 with {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs} from the small blind and Akkari got out of the way.

Siddique was the one at risk, but if Kaufman would lose, he would've been left with less than two big blinds. The {10-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop kept Siddique in the lead.

The dealer burned and turned the {K-Diamonds} and Kaufman hit one of the cards he was looking for. Siddique was drawing to the remaining sixes to survive but didn't catch one on the {Q-Diamonds} river.

The London resident received €252,000 for finishing in 6th place, by far the biggest score of his career. With the near double-up, Kaufman is the new chipleader.

Hand #22: Raffaele Sorrentino completed the blind with {k-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Lachezar Petkov tossed in his chips with {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} to see a {2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{10-Spades} flop. Sorrentino checked and Petkov checked back. The {k-Clubs} hit and Petkov called a min-bet of 250,000. On the {9-Clubs} river, Sorrentino fired again for 475,000. Petkov fired in a raise to 1,125,000. Sorrentino found the fold button.

Hand #23: Brian Kaufman raised with {k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} to 525,000 in the cutoff. Petkov put in a three-bet to 1,525,000 in the small blind with {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}, chasing everyone away.

Hand #24: Petkov came in firing again with a button raise to 525,000 with {k-Clubs}{4-Spades}. Andre Akkari wasn't having it with {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} in the small blind, reraising to 1,650,000. That slowed Petkov down and sent the pot to the PokerStars Team Pro.

Hand #25: Dealt {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs} in the cutoff, Petkov came in for another 525,000 raise. Sorensson flatted the small blind with {8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}. The {9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Clubs} flop prompted a bet of 950,000 from Sorensson, which won him the pot.

Hand #26: Three players saw a {j-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop for the minimum. Two checks ahead of him prompted a bet of 675,000 with Sorensson, and he won holding {j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}. Both blinds folded bottom pair.

Players went on break for 20 minutes.
