Daniel Negreanu lost all but a few chips to the flopped set of deuces of Upeshka De Silva and ended up all in shortly after with against the of Antonio Saez. The board came and Negreanu was drawing dead on the turn.

Chino Rheem seems to be among the current chip leaders after taking out yet another short stack in Uwe Ritter. The German put his hopes on and Rheem called with . A jack on the flop and queen on the river sealed the fate for Ritter.

Vojtech Ruzicka raised to 1,800 in middle position and Barry Greenstein called on the button. Scott Stewart moved in for his final 7,300 from the small blind and both Ruzicka and Greenstein called. On the flop, Ruzicka got rid of Greenstein with a bet of 6,000.

Neither the turn nor river helped Stewart and he headed for the rail. Ruzicka, who had 16k at the dinner break, is up to 56k.
The field on Day 1b is up to 462 entries, bringing the total number of players in the 2019 PCA Main Event up to 818, easily surpassing last year's number of 582.
Henrik Hecklen, fresh off a second place in the $100,000 PCA Super High Roller, is among the latest entrants that have taken their seats. Daniel Negreanu is back in for another attempt but already lost half of his second bullet as well.
Vanessa Selbst bluffed with a busted straight draw right into the top set of aces of Victor Choupeaux to bust. Chris Hunichen entered late after finishing 4th in the Super High Roller, he sits next to Joe Cada and the latter watches the NFL match on the big screen in the Ballroom.
Daniel Negreanu doubled with queens against the jacks of Nicolas Cardyn. And last but not least, Thomas Muehloecker just won a bigger pot off Fabio Freitas when his value bet on the river was called.
Freitas had opened to 1,600 and Muehloecker called on the button. On the flop, Freitas continued for 1,200 and was called before firing again for 2,100 on the turn. Muehloecker raised to 9,000 and the call of the Brazilian followed. On the river, Freitas check-called a bet of 17,000 to muck as soon as Muehloecker had turned over for a turned straight and rivered flush.
