Pierre Chevalier had gained his big stack after flopping a set of threes and knocking out an opponent with pocket queens for the overpair. Just now he had exactly that hand to send Ole Schemion to the rail. The Frenchman squeezed a hefty reraise to 10,000 after a limp and the raise of Schemion to 2,000 and the German called.

Baranov Busts Shak

As we approached table 13 we already saw a big pot brewing with Dan Shak making the call for 16,000 total from the small blind. Apparently it went raise to 1,100, three-bet to 2,600 by Sergii Baranov, cold four-bet to 8,000 by Shak, five-bet to 16,000 by Barnaov, call by Shak.

Both players checked the flop and the popped up on the turn. Shak bet out 18,000 and Baranov made the call from middle position.

The river brought a fourth heart to the table: . Shak thought for just a bit before announcing all in. He had a whole lot of chips still in front of him, but most were small denominations with towers of 25 and 100 chips.

Baranov made the call and Shak immediately asked is his opponent had the king of hearts. Shak than showed his first but would soon find out the river was about the worst card in the deck for him. It had given Baranov a full house with his and Shak's cards went face down into the muck.

Kanit Gets Beaten In the Mouth

There was an open to 1,100 from the under-the-gun player and Mustapha Kanit put out the call. Asher Neaman was in the small blind and he made as if to raise and then said he had better just call after all. The big blind called as well and they saw a flop of .

“Bet small and I pay you.” Kanit told Neaman who wanted to know how much to bet. “Five or six kay. I have the nine. There I’ve told you my hand.”

They both checked and Neaman showed which was the winner against the of Kanit.

Neaman was delighted, “This is the first time I beat you in the mouth.”

Too Many Outs for Mothes

Wittke Doubles Through Lavi

Craig McCorkell raised to 700 from middle position before Victor Lavi bumped it up to 3,050 from the button. Andreas Wittke was on the small blind and moved all in for his remaining 17,650 in chips. The big blind folded as did McCorkell. Lavi thought for a minute before making the call.

The name Thom Gerrits didn't really ring a bell, but we saw his name behind a who mountain of chips and decided to investigate.

Gerrits played a big pot earlier he told us, one where he would flop a flush and get paid.

Gerrits flatted a 1,000 raise with and got squeezed on behind him to 4,300. The initial raiser made the call and so did Gerrits.
