Both players checked again and the 6♥ completed the board. Winter bet 75,000 and Davies used a time bank before calling.
Winter took down the pot and moved up close to four million in chips.

It was a classic flip, with Antonius at risk. The flop Q♣6♣6♦ changed nothing, with Antonius not even picking up any hearts. The turn 9♥ did give him straight outs.
"I'll take a jack," said Antonius, but the river was the 8♦ and he was the first elimination at the final table, taking home €278,400.

The 8♣5♦K♠ flop saw Winter check-call a bet of 70,000 from Davies.
The 2♥ turn checked through to the Q♥ on the river. Winter checked again and Davies checked back. Winter rolled over A♠10♠, while Davies conceded the pot with A♦9♦ having been outkicked.
"If I stare at it long enough it'll turn into a chop, right?" joked Davies as he mucked his cards.

On the very first hand, action folded to Jesse Lonis A♣J♥ who raised to 110,000 and Kayhan Mokri Q♦9♥ defended his big blind.

Mokri called and the turn was the 4♥. Again it checked to Lonis who used a time bank before a bet of 295,000 got a quick fold from Mokri.

It's official. After its return in 2023 following a 12-year hiatus, PokerStars has confirmed that The Big Game on Tour is back again this year, with more episodes to be filmed at the NAPT Las Vegas festival.
Ten episodes of the show were filmed last year, with the likes of Phil Hellmuth, Maria Ho, Lex Veldhuis and Sam Grafton all taking part. The show features a lucky Loose Cannon who receives $50,000 and has to survive 150 hands playing $50/$100 with a table of poker pros, ambassadors, and celebrities.
PokerNews spoke with Big Game on Tour judge and commentator James Hartigan ahead of the show's return, and he says he's thrilled the show is back.
