Gregoire Auzoux
Gregoire Auzoux

Gregoire Auzoux moved all in for 56,000 in the cutoff and Juan Pardo called in the big blind. "I have a king. I don't know what else," Auzoux said as the players showed their cards.

Gregoire Auzoux: K2
Juan Pardo: Q8

The flop came 687 and Pardo made top pair to take the lead. The 10 turn also gave him a flush draw and left Auzoux with only two outs heading to the river, which came the 7 and sealed his elimination.

Tsugunari Toma
Tsugunari Toma

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 13,000 under the gun before Tsugunari Toma moved all in for 192,000 in the hijack. Gregoire Auzoux then reshoved in the big blind and Bujtas folded.

Tsugunari Toma: KQ
Gregoire Auzoux: AK

Toma was dominated heading to the flop, which came 4Q8 and gave Toma top pair and the lead. Auzoux picked up a straight draw on the 10 turn, but he missed the 4 river and handed over most of his stack to Toma.

"Stupid game," he said with a smile.

Ole Schemion raised to 13,000 on the button and Gregoire Auzoux called in the small blind. Laszlo Bujtas then three-bet to 68,000 in the big blind. Schemion moved all in for around 420,000, Auzoux folded, but Bujtas snap-called.

Laszlo Bujtas: KK

Schemion was at risk against Bujtas' kings as the board ran out 104472, ending his day despite his earlier double up.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy was moved to this table after Schemion's elimination and raised to 13,000 under the gun. Kayhan Mokri then three-bet to 40,000 in the hijack and Gregoire Auzoux four-bet to 85,000 in the cutoff.

Troyanovskiy folded, but Mokri then moved all in. Auzoux quickly folded.

"I just wanted to call 13. I can't call 40 so I had to four-bet," Auzoux said.

"I'm playing tight today. Only good hands," Mokri replied.

Nível 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Tamas Adamszki
Tamas Adamszki

Dimitar Danchev opened to 13,000 from the hijack and Tamas Adamszki defended his big blind.

Adamszki check-called bets of 12,000 and 42,000 on the flop and turn for the final board to read KQ1032.

Adamszki checked for a third time and Danchev followed suit.

To Danchev's surprise, Adamszki had the winner after he tabled AJ for flopped Broadway which backdoored into the nut-flush.

Suzuki Runs Into Aces

Nível 9 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Yuto Suzuki
Yuto Suzuki

Laszlo Bujtas raised to 13,000 under the gun, then called when Yuto Suzuki moved all in on the button for 60,000.

Yuto Suzuki: AQ
Laszlo Bujtas: AA

Suzuki picked up a straight draw heading to the river on a board of JJ510, but he missed the 9 river and became the first casualty of the day.

Bujtas then pointed out that Mokri didn't use the money he won in their bet yesterday to buy a sweater like he promised. "That's all you talked about for six hours yesterday and you forgot. Give me the money back," Bujtas joked.

"I didn't even think about it. I might have saved 2K," Mokri replied.

Final Call for Entries in the €50,000 EPT Super High Roller

Juan Pardo
Juan Pardo

Poker's high rollers — this is your last chance to get in the mix for the biggest buy-in event of the 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour Prague, as late registration for the €50,000 EPT Super High Roller will close when Day 2 gets underway at 12:30 p.m. local time.

Today's action currently sees 11 players returning to the Hilton, Prague, with Kayhan Mokri (813,000) in pole position to claim the largest slice of the €970,200 prize pool. EPT royalty Steve O'Dwyer (691,000) and Juan Pardo (685,000) complete the top three chip counts and are the only other two players with more than 100 big blinds.

EPT Prague's €10,200 NL Hold'em winner Tamas Adamszki (564,000) is still in contention for a second title at the stop, along with Teun Mulder who triumphed the series' opening €25K event. The Dutchman also secured a third-place finish in the second €25K tournament, with the two payouts taking him to the top spot on the Netherlands All-Time Money List.

Jules Dickerson (521,000), Laszlo Bujtas (439,000) and Gregoire Auzoux (425,000) find themselves in the middle of the pack but have more than enough talent between them to stage a surge up the chip counts.

Vladimir Troyanovskiy (291,000) and Dimitar Danchev (280,000) were able to add a few chips to their 250,000 starting stack and are only propped by Mulder and Yuto Suzuki (89,000).

Day 2 resumes on Level 9 with blinds of 3,000-6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante, and as mentioned, the late registration period will close when cards go in the air.
