The 2023 PokerStars European Poker Tour (EPT) Prague here at the Hilton Prague continues today with the €3,000 Mystery Bounty; Day 1 of this three-day event kicks off this afternoon at 2 p.m local time.
In 2022, it was Mathieu Di Meglio who emerged victorious after besting a field of 776 players. Di Meglio lay claim to the lion's share of the €1,331,616 prize pool, taking home €243,186 for the first-place prize.

This is the second Mystery Bounty tournament to take place at EPT Prague, with Oleg Vasylchenko taking down the €10,200 Mystery Bounty just yesterday. Vasylchenko triumphed over Enrico Camosci in heads-up play to claim the €154,673 up top and a further €80,000 in additional bounties.
Late registration will be open until the beginning of Day 2, which kicks off on Thursday, December 14 at 12:30 p.m. Upon the start of Day 2, the Mystery Bounties will come into play. Of the total entry fee, €1,000 will be put into the bounty prize pool which will generate prizes that include, but are not limited to, €100,000, €50,000, €30,000, €15,000, €10,000, €5,000, €1,000, and €500.
Anyone who enters the Mystery Bounty will receive a starting stack of 30,000. The plan for Day 1 is to play 12 40-minute levels and while the registration period is open, players are allowed unlimited reentries.

Viktor Wessman opened 600 in the hijack before Denys Mazur three-bet 1,600 next to act. Denis Charlier was on the button and put in a four-bet to 6,500. That was enough to force folds, and he tabled A♣A♦.

Bernat Capdevila Montes raised his first hand to 500 chips on the button. Karl Nordeman then flat-called from the small blind before big blind Anatoly Korochenskiy made it 2,700 to go from the big blind.
Capdevila Montes made the call and Nordeman got out of the way, leading to a A♦5♦3♠ board on the table.
Korochenskiy bet out 1,500 and Capdevila Montes called, while the subsequent J♥ turn went check-check.
Korochenskiy then fired 3,000 on the 8♦ river and his Spanish opponent tanked a while before eventually folding, albeit reluctantly.

Charlier Albert raised to 400 from the cutoff, Markkos Ladev three-bet to 2,400 from the small blind and Albert called.
Ladev continued for 1,100 on the A♣A♠J♥ and Albert made the call.
The 3♣ turn checked through to the 7♥ on the river. Ladev bet again, this time for 5,700. Albert clicked it back to 12,800 and Ladev went into the tank, thinking for several minutes before folding.
As he raked in the pot, Albert tabled A♦7♣ for a rivered full house.

The action was opened by Fahredin Mustafov who raised it up to 800 and got one caller in Stefan Heizmann.
The two went to the flop of 6♠J♣4♣ Heizmann checked and Mustafov continued for 1,500 with his opponent making the call.
The turn brought the Q♣ and again Heizmann checked with Mustafov this time betting 2,100 with Heizmann making the call.
On the river A♦ Heizmann led out for 6,700 and Mustafov made the fold.

On a completed board of 5♥6♥8♣3♥K♦, Maria Kokkinou checked from the big blind before Hideki Nakayama fired 6,500 chips into the pot of 10,000.
Kokkinou followed with a quick call but mucked her cards once Nakayama showed 9♦7♦ for a straight.
