More regional tour action gets underway today at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Cyprus as the first flight of the $2,200 Eureka High Roller kicks off at 12 p.m. EEST. With the success of the ongoing Eureka Main Event, a big turnout is expected and will likely feature some of poker's biggest names who have made the trip to the Merit Royal Diamond Hotel Casino & Spa.

The $2,200 buy-in gives each entrant a 30,000 starting stack and blinds start at 100/200. A big blind ante is also in play when the event begins. Levels increase every 40 minutes and unlimited reentries are permitted until late registration closes (after Level 10).

A 75-minute dinner break is scheduled to take place after the completion of Level 9 (approximately 6:45 p.m. EEST).

Day 1b of the tournament also takes place today but has a later start time of 7 p.m. and runs as a turbo (20-minute levels). Any players who bust in Day 1a can take another shot in the final starting flight.

The Day 1a and 1b plan is to play to the money, with action concluding when 15 percent of the field remains. Anyone who bags and tags a stack will return Monday to battle it out on Day 2, where a champion will be crowned.
