Last year, Parker Talbot said that he was looking forward to the return of live poker, just not for the reason you thought:
"I just want to see my friends, honestly," Talbot told PokerNews. "The majority of my best buds live on the other side of the world and we often meet up on the European Poker Tour and the like, so the fact we haven't been able to travel for live events has been brutal."
Since then Talbot has cashed on the EPT in Barcelona and here in London and is enjoying getting stuck back into the live poker felt. He's just jumped into Day 1b of the EPT London Main Event.

A player opened from middle position and was called by Ana Marquez. John Duthie three-bet to 3,500 on the button and Steve O'Dwyer four-bet to 8,400 in the big blind.

Another event at the PokerStars European Poker Tour London at the Hilton Park Lane has reached its conclusion. France's Jeremy Routier was the last player standing in the £2,200 UKIPT High Roller after despatching online crusher Roman Hrabec in heads-up play. Routier collected the £249,460 up top and bagged himself his first EPT title.
Carl Shaw has sent Ludovic Geilich to the rail. According to Shaw, Geilich opened and Shaw three-bet to 3,000. Geilich called and checked a flop of 
over to Shaw.
Shaw continued for 7,000 and Geilich check min-raised to 14,000. Shaw called.
Geilich then shoved for 17,000 on the turn and Shaw called.

In a four-way pot on a flop of 
, Sita Divari bet 1,600 and Carl Probsting and Fabio Figurella both called, while the fourth player in the hand folded.
The turn brought the and Divari bet 3,300. Probsting called and Figurella raised to 8,300. Divari responded by raising all in for 18,300 as Probsting went deep into the tank. Probsting eventually called and Figurella snap-called with a bigger stack.

According to Daniel Chuprun, he was involved in a hand that resulted in the elimination of Landon Tice 40 minutes into Day 1b.
Chuprun had opened and got calls from Tice on the button as well as the player in the small blind. Samuel Ju then three-bet from the big blind to 3,000. Chuprun folded and Tice shoved for around 9,000. The small blind folded and Ju called.
Tice held

Ju checked on the

Sitbon tabled for nines full of eights and Tice mucked to concede the early pot to Sitbon. Tice later recounted that he had held for a worse full house with eights full of aces.
