With late registration and re-entry open until the start of Day 2, we are expecting more players to join the field of the PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona €100,000 Super High Roller.
Yesterday there were 44 entrants, and after eight levels of play just 28 remain. Already confirmed as re-entering were Sergio Aido and Adrian Mateos, who were both eliminated last night. Aido lost a flip against Timothy Adams, with Mateos losing out with bottom pair against Richard Yong who held pocket sixes.
Leading the way is Ahadpur Khangah with a remarkable stack of 1,155,000 - almost twice the stack of fellow big stacks Pascal Lefrancois and David Peters.
Today there will be ten 60-minute levels, with a 75-minute dinner break after level 16. Stay tuned to PokerNews for all the action from Day 2.
