At the end of the previous level, Tue Ullerup Hansen defended his big blind against a raise by William Kassouf and check-folded a jack-high flop to get shown by Kassouf.
Kassouf then started the new level in the big blind and Patrick Serda raised to 350,000 from under the gun. Kassouf called and checked the flop, Serda checked behind. On the turn, Kassouf bet 450,000 and Serda called before the appeared on the river.
Some table talk by Kassouf followed and he then bet 575,000, Serda snap-called. Kassouf showed for nines and sevens, which Serda had beat with for a straight to take over the lead.
Patrick Serda raised to 350,000 from the button before Paul Leckey three-bet jammed all-in for 1,300,000 from the big blind. Serda quickly tossed in one chip to call.

Leckey, who was already behind, got no help from the flop to catch up. Serda commented to his opponent, "If you are going to stand up, stand up on the turn."
Leckey stood up, but it didn't change his fate. The and were unable to improve his hand for a chop or a win and Leckey was eliminated in sixth place for €224,600.
William Kassouf opened to 350,000 first to act and Patrick Serda called on the button. The flop came and Kassouf checked, Serda bet 325,000 and Kassouf folded.
In the next hand, Viliyan Petleshkov open-shoved for 2,275,000 from the small blind. Kassouf added some table talk and eventually folded face-up as announced previously.
Tue Ullerup Hansen then opened to 350,000 and Kassouf called, Serda moved all in with the biggest stack of the trio. Ullerup Hansen folded, Kassouf let go and showed ace-ten, Serda flashed ace-queen.
Tue Ullerup Hansen opened from the button to 325,000 and William Kassouf called from the big blind. Both Viliyan Petleshkov and Patrick Serda decided it was a good time to stretch their legs and temporarily left the table.
Kassouf check-called a bet of 325,000 from Hansen on the flop. Kassouf checked when the hit the turn and then told his opponent that, "Your ace is no good."
Hansen bet 750,000 after he tanked for a couple of minutes. Kassouf went into the tank for minutes before Hansen eventually called the clock on him. With about 20 seconds left to act, Kassouf folded the pot to Hansen.
Viliyan Petleshkov built his stack slightly and Patrick Serda recovered the losses by taking from Tue Ullerup Hansen. Serda opened to 425,000 from the small blind and Ullerup Hansen called in the big blind. On the flop, Serda continued for 275,000 and was called before the turn went check, check.
On the river, Serda bet and Ullerup Hansen gave it plenty of thought. The clock was called on him and the Dane folded.
With the EPT Main Event in the books, the William Kassouf's rail has gotten larger and he promised to buy them drinks on the next break. Even though his rail grew, his chip stack after the last few hands he got involved with has become smaller.
During the last hand, Tue Ullerup Hansen opened up from the button to 400,000 and Kassouf called from the big blind. Kassouf check-called a bet from Hansen of 225,000 on a flop. Both players checked when the appeared on the turn.
Kassouf then checked when the completed the board on the river. He said to his opponent to bet a variety of colors and to make the bet around 1,200,000. Hansen instead bet close to that firing out for 1,100,000. Kassouf tanked and told his opponent, "I still don't believe you." Told you I have two pair and still have two pair."
Once again Kassouf had time called on him. As has been the case many times today, he folded his hand after time was called.
Viliyan Petleshkov open-shoved first to act and William Kassouf with a slightly smaller stack folded on the button. Patrick Serda asked for a count out of the small blind and the shove of Petleshkov was for 3,245,000. Serda moved all in and isolated successfully.

The Bulgarian rail was shouting for a deuce, but their wish wasn't granted on a board of and Petleshkov was eliminated in fourth place for €283,850. Kassouf joked about a three-way chop and Serda replied with a simple and very dry "no thank you."
The remaining three players are now guaranteed at least €351,000.
After winning another hand, Patrick Serda and his remaining two opponents Tue Ullerup Hansen and William Kassouf headed into a small break. Below are the up-to-date chip counts of the trio, Serda has a massive lead.
The three players briefly looked at ICM numbers and Tue Ullerup Hansen declined, Patrick Serda said he would have asked for more money anyways. In the first hand back, Ullerup Hansen moved all in from the button and claimed the blinds and antes.
