After Atanas Kavrakov opened for 700 from middle position, the players in the hijack and cutoff called before Giulio Astarita three-bet jammed for 11,000 from the button. The blinds both folded, Kavrakov four-bet all in over the top, and the other two players got out of the way.

Astarita had picked the wrong time to shove, and he paid for it with his tournament life as the board ran out .
The under-the-gun player opened for 600 and Edouard Sadoun responded by three-betting to 1,700. 2011 World Series of Poker runner-up Martin Staszko then cold four-bet to 4,000 from the hijack, and action folded back to Sadoun, who made the call.
Both players proceeded to check the flop, and then Sadoun checked the turn. Staszko bet 4,500, and Sadoun woke up with a min-check-raise to 9,000. Staszko didn't seem thrilled about it, but made the call nonetheless.
Sadoun then moved all in dark for his last 4,875, the completed the board on the river, and Staszko hit the tank for a solid two minutes before making the call. Sadoun tabled the for a full house, and Staszko was left shaking his head.

We noticed Team PokerStars Pro Andre Akkari was no longer in his seat, and a quick check with Ari Engel confirmed that the Brazilian had busted. Not only that, Engel had done the deed.
According to him, Akkari opened with a raise and Engel three-bet holding . Akkari ripped 35 bigs with , Engel called, and the board ran out clean. With that, Akkari was eliminated from the EPT12 Malta Main Event while Engel crossed the century mark.
Meanwhile, Martin Staszko has also been eliminated from the tournament.
Just before the level went up, with around 15,000 already in the pot and a board reading , Canada's Shaan Siddiqui put his big stack to good use by moving all in under the gun, which put the pressure on France's Remi Marlair in middle position. The Frenchman gave it some thought, but opted to release his hand.
