Vanessa Selbst opened to 100,000 from under the gun, Paul Newey just flat-called in the big blind, and the flop fell . Newey immediately moved all in for his remaining 180,000, and Selbst chuckled.

“I didn’t hit the flop, guys,” Selbst said jokingly after about 30 seconds. “The old-fashioned stop-and-go.”

She eventually mucked her hand, saying she had ace-high, and Newey picked up the pot.

The flop fell , giving Shak a backdoor flush draw, and the on the turn gave Gregg a pair of eights. Shak added a few more outs to make a straight, but the on the river give him a meaningless pair of fives.

Gregg doubled to 510,000, while Shak is still above two million.

Selbst Straightens Out Shak

Vanessa Selbst made it 100,000 from middle position and found a single call from Dan Shak in the hijack. The two saw a heart-filled flop of hit the felt and they both checked to see the fall on the turn.

Selbst bet 160,000 and Shak called. The river brought a fourth heart to the community cards with the and Selbst dropped 125,000 forward. Shak instantly called but then mucked after seeing Selbst's for a straight. Selbst dragged in the pot and now has 4.65 million to Shak's 1.76 million.
