Break Raise Three-Bet from Benelli

Nível 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

As the break was called a hand developed.

Ludovic Riehl opened for 32,000 from the Hijack and there was three-bet from Andrea Benelli in the small blind to 89,000. Alex Kravchenko folded the big blind and Riehl made the call.

The flop was {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Benelli continued for 85,000 and Riehl folded fairly quickly to take advantage of the rest of the break.

It’s Fun to Have Chips, but Hakim Keeps His Sights on the Final Table

Nível 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

It’s a place of quiet reflection, of peace and of solitude. It’s also known as the theatre in Casino Sanremo where the final three tables of the Main Event play on. It’s short on audience members, that much is certain, but for the six of us watching the action from the comfort of plush burgundy seats, on a screen positioned too far away to make any sense of, it’s a pleasant place to pass the time. Poker is more enjoyable when watched in comfort. It’s also more enjoyable when you have chips, as the PokerStars Blog reports.

Goeller's Line Won't Work

Andreas Goeller
Andreas Goeller

Andreas Goeller limped in from the small blind, only to see Joran Westmorland make it 55,000 from the big blind. Goeller made the call to see a flop.

Both players checked the {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}-flop and the dealer brought the {4-Spades} to accompany those three first community cards. Goeller check-called a 50,000 bet and the river came the {J-Diamonds}. Goeller now bet 100,000. Westmorland instantly called, Goeller mucked as he didn't want to show his cards. So did Westmorland and he took it down without showing his cards.
