Ludovic Geilich
Ludovic Geilich

Another player has been eliminated and it's Ludovic Geilich who's hit the rail. The EPT10 London 4th place finisher was very unlucky to find himself on the rail though.

He and Eli Heath got it all-in pre-flop for a 700,000 pot with Geilich holding pocket aces and Heath a pair of sevens. A seven on the flop sent the pot to Heath. That left Geilich very short and he was out soon after.

Bahram Chobineh Makes a Big Fold

Nível 20 : 4,000/8,000, 1,000 ante

A hand that left the rest of the table flabbergasted just played out between Bahram Chobineh and Carlo De Benedittis. From under-the-gun Chobineh limped, De Benedittis raised to 23,000 only for Chobineh to limp re-raise to 47,000 total. His limp re-raise was met by an instant all-in from De Benedittis.

Back on Chobineh he asjked for a count, De Benedittis was all-in for 363,000 and he covered Chobineh, who had 260,000 back. The Iranian tanked for over three minutes before folding {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts} face-up. "Wow," exclaimed the table, even more so when De Benedittis showed {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}.

Análise de Mãos

After considering De Benedittis's possible holdings after such a sequence of bets and raises, Chobineh was able to fold his pocket queens. After Eugene Katchalov opened to 25,000, Maenpaa three-bet to 75,000 from the small blind only for Szecsi to four-bet to 185,000 from the big blind. Katchalov folded, but Maenpaa went into the tank, both players started the hand with over 100 big blinds and Maenpaa elected to call.

On the {3-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{4-Hearts} flop Maenpaa checked to Szecsi who continuation bet 145,000, Maenpaa took a look at his cards, then announced all-in for 1,101,000 total and Szecsi snap-called. He was all-in for 1,063,000.
