There was over 45,000 already in the middle of the table when we came upon Dan Smith and Sam Greenwood engaged in a hand on a flop of . Smith cut out a bet of 14,500 and Greenwood went into the tank for quite some time before opting to flat call.
Fourth street paired the board with the . Smith slowed down and checked which put the action on Greenwood. He sat thinking for a bit before tapping the table back. Fifth street saw the finish the board and both players checked. Smith rolled over but was ultimately behind Greenwood's for a rivered pair of jacks. Greenwood dragged in the pot and brought his stack to about 160,000 while Smith is back to around starting stack.
From the hijack seat, Igor Kurganov raised to 1,500. Marc-Andre Ladouceur reraised to 4,100 from the cutoff seat, then action folded to the player in the big blind, and he reraised to 8,200. Kurganov had both players covered and reraised to put them both all in. Ladouceur called all in for around 30,000 total, and the big blind folded.
Ladouceur showed the , but he was outdone by the for Kurganov. Following the board of , Ladouceur was eliminated and Kurganov moved to 205,000 in chips.

The board read when we found Viacheslav Goryachev check over to Eugene Katchalov. Katchalov fired 7,500 and Goryachev flat called to see the river.
The final card was the and Goryachev checked again. This time, however, Katchalov checked behind. Goryachev showed for trip trey and Katchalov threw his hand into the muck. Goryachev picked up the pot and now sits at 85,000 to Katchalov's 60,000.
