Season 10 of the PokerStars European Poker Tour features a new Player of the Year system powered by the Global Poker Index. Players will be able to accumulate points in all events throughout Season 10, regardless of the buy-in level. In addition, all of the Festival Events (Estrellas, UKIPT, Eureka, FPS, IPT) that combine with an EPT tour stop will be eligible for POY points.

On the turn of a board, Jeff Sarwer, [Removed:17] and Tomeu Gomila all checked to see the on the river. Sarwer and Yan checked again and Gomila made a 1,000 stab at the pot (which had over 2,000 already in it). Sarwer made the call and Yan folded.
Under the new EPT rules, you're allowed to register up to the start of Day 2 which gives the players a wealth of options in terms of how they want to start the tournament. When we arrived at Table 7, Rasmus Agerskov checked to Jeff Sarwer on a board of . Sarwer bet 3,600 into a pot of around 5,000, and Greenwood tank-called.
The completed the board, Agerskov checked again, and Sarwer tossed out 8,200, which represented a very large portion of Agerskov's stack. The World Series of Poker bracelet winner tanked for the better part of two minutes, then finally flipped forward a single blue T5,000 chip.
