GPI Player of the Year: Mike Watson é o Novo Líder
Depois de passar várias semanas em segundo lugar, Mike Watson conseguiu passar Paul Volpe e é agora o líder do ranking Global Poker Index Payer of the Year. Watson foi 44º no Evento #1 das World Series of Poker Asia-Pacific 2013 e isso ajudou-o a subir no ranking.

Quem está de volta ao top 10 esta semana é o alemão Philipp Gruissem. Gruissem ganhou o $50,000 High Roller nas WSOP APAC ($863,386). Gruissem tem tido um 2013 bastante interesante, em Fevereiro ficou em segundo lugar, $197,416, no $25,000 Challenge do Aussie Millions, perdendo no heads-up para o seu amigo Igor Kurganov.
Ole Schemion e Bryn Kenney também entraram no top 10, Schemion subiu oito lugares depois de vencer o Lebanese Poker Tour Championship Event ($201,206) e Kenney subiu seis lugares depois de ficar em 26º no WPT Barcelona ($8,587).
Se uns entraram no top 10, outros tiveram de sair, esta semana Steven Silverman (11), Micah Raskin (12) e Stephen Bokor (13) foram os "felizardos".
Para além das mudanças no top 10, o top 100 também sofreu alterações, Antonio Esfandiari, Benjamin Spindler e Aaron Lim subiram bastante.
Esfandiari foi bubble da final table do Main Event das WSOP APAC, Spindler atingiu a final table e Lim venceu o vento #4.
Daniel Negreanu, o vencedor do Main Event WSOP APAC é agora o 62º da contagem.
