Cards are in the air for the 13 remaining Super Seniors. One of them will be taking home a WSOP gold bracelet.
After a tentative start to proceedings, James Martini bet 600,000 from the cutoff and was raised by Ronald Lane in the big blind to 1,600,000. Martini assessed their chips and opted to move all in for 3,500,000, which Lane called.
James Martini: Q♣J♣
Ronald Lane: A♠Q♦
Martini needed help but didn't receive it as the board ran out Q♥6♥8♦K♣K♠ to give Lane the same two pair but with an ace-kicker. Lane commiserated with Martini as he headed to the payout cage.

Ronald Swain raised to 600,000 and Kevin Danko called from the big blind to see a flop of 3♣A♥7♣. Danko check-folded the flop to preserve his short stack when Swain fired another 600,000.
Action has started slowly on Feature Table 1 with two of the shorter stacks looking for a double. There have been several shoves but no one has been put at risk yet.

With 1,500,000 in the middle on a flop of J♠8♥6♦, Federico Trujillo bet 750,000 from under the gun. Kevin Parmely announced raise and put out 1,200,000 which was short of the min-raise.
While this was pointed out to him, Trujillo, who is not a native English speaker, announced all in. Parmely who was oblivious to the all in was still putting out the correct amount for his earlier raise. Trujillo saw Parmely put a chip in and assumed he called and turned over A♠A♥.
The floor was called and Parmely was given the option to call or fold. He chose to fold and Trujillo was given the pot and a three-hand penalty for exposing his cards with action pending.

Robert Whalen: A♣7♠
Ronald Lane: A♠10♣
Whalen was in bad shape and did not improve enough to beat Lane on the board of K♣5♥6♥2♦4♠ and was sent to the cashier desk in 12th place

Rassoul Malboubi raised to 600,000 before Klaus Ilk shoved 2,150,000 from the next seat over. Malboubi went deep into the tank before he emerged with a call.
Klaus Ilk: A♣7♠
Rassoul Malboubi: 4♦4♣
The board ran out 10♥9♥10♣9♣2♦ and the turned nine gave Ilk a double with two pair and an ace kicker to counterfeit Malboubi's pocket fours.
