Myerson Finds Pocket Rockets

Nível 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Following an open from under-the-gun, Alan Myerson moved all-in in middle position. It didn't take long for everyone to move aside and action was back on the initial raiser. After thinking for a minute, he made the call.

Alan Myerson {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}
Opponent {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Myerson was the massive favorite as the dealer laid out the community cards.

{6-Spades}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds} {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}

It ran out safe for Myerson and he got a double up to 35,000.

Morris Downs Two

Nível 9 : 300/600, 100 ante

Steven Morris kicked things off with a 1,400 open and another player who was down to just 2,300 went all in. It folded round to the small blind who upped it to 5,100, which Morris called.

The flop came {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{9-Clubs}. It was an all-club board and the three-bettor continued for 4,000. Morris instantly moved all in and was snap-called.

Morris held {10-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and his opponent had {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}, with the shorter stack playing {a-Hearts}{3-Hearts}. It was top set versus a flush draw. The {5-Hearts} turn was a brick but the {5-Clubs} river, though bringing the flush, filled up the board for Morris to give him a full house, and he has built up to a massive 82,500.
