The starting field of 684 entries is down to just 16 players, each with hopes of getting the victory and capturing the first-place prize of $347,052. On top of the chip counts entering Day 3 is Rudy Lucas with 1,759,000, but he'll have his work cut out for him if he is to seal the deal because a talented bunch is hot on his heels.
World Series of Poker bracelet winner and World Poker Tour World Championship winner Keven Stammen is second in chips with 1,574,000, having just bought into the tournament at the start of Day 2 with just 12.5 big blinds.
