The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Monte Carlo continues today, with Day 2 of the biggest buy-in tournament on the schedule, the €100,000 EPT Super High Roller, due to begin at 12:30 p.m. local time at the beautiful Sporting Monte-Carlo.

Jacob Amsellem of France, who accumulated 1,094,000 chips and comes into Day 2 with over 180 big blinds, holds the chip lead, closely followed by British star Ben Heath (1,092,000) and defending champion Alex Kulev of Bulgaria (1,091,000).

With late registration open until the start of Day 2, and any players taking that option entering with over 40 big blinds, it is expected that the prize pool will swell further. As at the time of writing the field had increased to 30, with Leonardo Drago reentering after Day 1 concluded.
15 percent of the overall field will make the money, with the final prize pool and payouts due to be confirmed shortly after late registration closes.
Players will be returning to 60-minute levels with blinds of 3,000/6,000 and a 6,000 big blind ante.
The PokerNews live reporting team will be bringing you all the action from this prestigious tournament, so be sure to stay tuned to see who progresses to Day 3 for a shot at the title.

Leonardo Drago, in the cutoff, found himself all in and at risk for his last 220,000 against Patrik Antonius, on the button.
Leonardo Drago: A♦K♠
Patrik Antonius: Q♣Q♦
This classic tournament flip fell in the favour of Antonius as the board ran out 9♣4♦10♣2♣6♥; Drago's high cards couldn't connect to the five-card run out and he was sent to the rail.
Both Adrian Mateos and Conor Beresford also join Drago on the rail.
