The 2024 PokerStars European Poker Tour Monte Carlo continues today with the €100,000 EPT Super High Roller. The Sporting Monte-Carlo will play host to this prestigious three-day event that is sure to attract some of the best and brightest stars in the poker community.
The same event last year drew an impressive field of 37 entries, which saw the eventual winner Alex Kulev claim the trophy and the lion’s share of the €3,589,740 prize pool. Kulev defeated Mikita Badziakouski in heads-up play taking home a massive €1,036,287 for his efforts.

Players will have a starting stack of 250,000 chips with blinds beginning at 500/1,000 with a 1,000 big blind ante. Day 1 is scheduled to kick off at 12:30 p.m. local time as competitors play through eight 60-minute levels, with an additional break of 20 minutes every two levels.
A shot clock will be implemented from the start of the event and players will have six-time bank cards worth 30 seconds each. An additional time bank card will be allocated to each player at the start of every level.
This is an unlimited reentry event and late registration will be available until the start of Day 2.

The J♠ turn saw a repeat of the action, this time Ponakovs sized up to 6,500.
The river landed the Q♦ and Chidwick checked again. Ponakovs used a timebank chip before betting 16,500, prompting a quick fold from Chidwick.
