Nível 16 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Daniel Zack
Daniel Zack

With 172,000 in the middle having bet pot on the flop and half-pot on the turn, 2022 World Series of Poker Player of the Year leader Daniel Zack forced Owais Ahmed all in for his last 73,000 on a {4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} board.

Ahmed then went into the tank for a grueling six minutes before eventually laying his hand down.

Zack has already won two WSOP bracelets, made four final tables, and earned 10 cashes this year alone.

Chidwick Eliminated by Lee

Nível 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Stephen Chidwick
Stephen Chidwick

Seungjin Lee opened to 15,000 from under the gun and Stephen Chidwick three-bet pot as the player next to act. The action folded Lee, who re-potted to put Chidwick all in. Chidwick made the call.

Stephen Chidwick: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Seungjin Lee: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The flop landed {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} to give Lee a full house and have Chidwick drawing dead for the high. The board finished out {6-Clubs}{j-Spades} for Chidwick to be eliminated from the tournament.

Cowen and Livingston Chop Three-Way All in Pot

Nível 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Robert Cowen, Matt Livingston, and the big blind had their cards face up with around 540,000 in the middle on a {a-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Spades} flop and every player had a big piece of it.

Big Blind: {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Robert Cowen: {a-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}
Matt Livingston: {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}

The big blind had flopped top set while Cowen had two pair and was drawing to the nut low. Livingston had flopped top two pair and a backdoor flush draw.

The {5-Spades} hit the board to give Cowen the low as he was the only player who could qualify in addition to a wheel draw. The card also gave Livingston a flush draw.

The river brought the {k-Spades}, giving Livingston the high with a runner-runner flush draw and eliminating the big blind in cruel fashion.

Andrew Brown
Andrew Brown

With the board reading {6-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{9-Spades}, Yueqi Zhu put in a pot-sized bet of 30,000 from the big blind.

Andrew Brown re-potted it to 90,000 and Zhu went into the tank for a couple of minutes before shrugging his shoulders and making the call.

Brown announced "nines full of queens" and flipped over {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. A few seconds later, Eli Elezra asked about Zhu's hand and Zhu claimed "nines full."

Savill Forces Beinner to Make Big Laydown

Nível 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

On a {2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Spades} flop, Sterling Savill was virtually all-in for 190,000 of his 200,000 chips after Matthew Beinner had already committed 65,000.

Savill was perplexed and thought about his decision before eventually laying it down.

Savill flashed {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} without showing his other two cards, which had many at the table wondering if he had the {3-Clubs} to go with it.

He did not, however, as Beinner flashed the {q-Clubs}{3-Clubs}, which caused a couple more ooohs and ahhhs and drove speculation even further.
