The 52nd annual World Series of Poker (WSOP) at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada continues today with a brand-new tournament in Event #81: $800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack, which will commence at 11:00 a.m. local time.
Players will begin with a starting stack of 40,000 and blinds at 100/100/100 and levels will be 30 minutes in duration, with 20-minute breaks every four levels. Late registration will remain open until the end of Level 12, which is also the 75-minute dinner break, at approximately 5:40 p.m.
The event is scheduled to run for two days and Day 1 will break after 22 levels of play. Day 2 will start up on Friday, November 19th at 12 p.m. and will play down to a winner. Day 2 will have a dinner break at a time that has yet to be determined.
This is the first year Event #81: $800 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack will be played, and the winner will earn the lion's share of the prize pool as well as a coveted WSOP bracelet.
The tournament is expected to attract many big poker names and well-known faces, as well as some lesser-known players looking to earn a big score and go all the way.

The under-the-gun player limped and the player on his left raised to 500. The action folded around to Allen Kessler in the small blind who made the call, and the big blind came along as well, before the limper called.
The dealer spread a flop of , and all four players checked to see the on the turn. Kessler led out for 1,300 and only the player on his left made the call.
The completed the board and Kessler continued to fire, betting 2,000, and that was enough to take down the pot.

On a flop of , Brian Taylor check-raised a bet of 800 to 2,500, and two players made the call.
The hit the turn and Taylor fired in a bet of 4,000. The cutoff folded quickly and the button put in the chips to call.
When the landed on the river, Taylor continued to show aggression, firing a bet of 12,000 in the middle and his opponent snap-folded.

The hand between Kunal Patni and Van Crucheten was picked up on the river with the board showing .
The pot was around 6,000 in chips, and Patni bet 7,500. Crucheten raised the pot to 17,000.
Patni tanked briefly, asking, "pocket queens huh?" then called. Crucheten showed for a full house, and he scooped the pot.

On a completed board of and about 34,000 in the middle, Peter Hensakul jammed for 21,600. His opponent in the hand took about fifteen seconds before making the call. Hengsakul tabled for a flush and the opponent mucked his hand, awarding a full double up to Hengsakul.
